Steve Bacic - News Poster

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a Hunted Hitman in Killing Gunther [Trailer]

Looks like during his breaks from chiding Donald Trump, Arnold Schwarzenegger is still making movies; it's just too bad few have looked good. Killing Gunther is no exception.

Directed by actor-turned-director Taran Killam (who also wrote the movie), Killing Gunther stars Schwarzenegger as the titular Gunther, the world's best hitman but also the most loathed by fellow professionals in the murder-for-hire industry. As such, a group of eccentric assassins decide its time to take Gunter out but one after the other, they fumble the job and Gunter always seems to come out on top. Comedy ensues. Or is supposed to ensue. I'm not convinced it actually does.

Along with Schwarzenegger, the movie also stars Cobie Smulders, Bobby Moynihan, Steve Bacic and Allison Tolman.

Johnson plays Adam, who moves with his dad (Steve Bacic) to Springville a seemingly sleepy small town that Adam is expecting to loathe. […]

The heroes and villains of X-Men: First Class

As X-Men: First Class arrives in UK cinemas, James provides a handy guide to the film’s roster of heroes and villains, and when they first appeared...

Picture the scene. You've got into the earliest possible screening of this summer's latest Marvel movie blockbuster, X-Men: First Class. You've re-watched the entire trilogy to bring yourself up to date. Nothing can stop you from enjoying what is, by many accounts, the best X-Men film so far.

And yet, as the film unfolds, you begin to wonder what's going on. These aren't the X-Men of your youth, neither the 90s cartoon, nor the movies of the last decade. There's no Cyclops, no Jean, no Rogue. No Wolverine! You'd even settle for a glimpse of Halle Berry or Vinnie Jones.

Your brow begins to sweat. "Who are these second-raters," you cry out, disturbing those seated around you, "and what have they done with the real X-Men?

Smallville Mid-Season Return: Review & Discussion

For the time shifted viewer, we do have spoilers included in this review of Smallville’s mid-season return episode “Disciple.”

We open to Lois Lane (Erica Durance) and Clark Kent (Tom Welling) leaving a charity event and we see that they’re publicly an “item” now.

The episode sets up Oliver Queen’s (Justin Hartley) old instructor, Vordigan, (Steve Bacic) who they call the Dark Archer. He shows up in Oliver’s life, trying to right some wrongs and set an old promise in motion. The old promise is an oath that Oliver took while training under Vordigan that declares “No lovers, allies or disciples” in his life. This confused me since obviously Oliver was a disciple of Vordigan. Vordigan tries to make the oath come to be as he takes shots at Lois, Chloe and kidnaps Mia (aka Speedy).

Vordigan wants his pupil, Oliver, to kill him because he

Smallville: Absolute Justice Trailer #2 & Winter Premiere Preview

It’s time get your priorities in order and make sure you’re free this Friday because it is finally time for Smallville to return. For real this time, I promise and this Friday we not only see all our favorite characters that we’ve been missing the past months, but there are also some returning favorites as Speedy is returning.

Although, it doesn’t look like Speedy will be getting that much screen time as she’s slated to be kidnapped by Oliver’s mentor, Archer or as he is known in his Smallville iteration, The Dark Archer.

Oh, and did I mention we have a brand new promo for the Geoff Johns scripted “Absolute Justice” event?

First, check out the description from Friday’s brand new episode below:

Smallville: New ‘Absolute Justice’ Clip & Poster

With the winter premiere of Smallville being moved and fans having to wait another week to see Steve Bacic as Archer (or in this case “The Dark Archer”), The CW was kind enough to release another clip and a beyond-awesome poster for the television movie event, “Absolute Justice,” to hold fans over until the show’s return. Are the poster and clip enough?

Oh yeah!

While the clip is only 30-seconds long, it does show a little more of the story we can expect to see and I don’t know how, but it’s made me even more excited for this. I really didn’t think it was possible for me to be even more excited for “Absolute Justice,” but I am. If the clip didn’t do it, the poster would have.

The poster, showing Dr. Fate, Stargirl, Green Arrow and Hawkman, is not only amazing, but an

‘Storm’ Trailer: Uwe Boll Returns to (Bad) Form

Every time that a new Uwe Boll film comes out, I watch it hoping that this will be the film in which he succeeds in blowing me away; I haven’t had that happen yet. Sure, his next release, Rampage, looks like it may be his finest work to date -- but that is like saying a small bag of garbage is better than a large bag of garbage. Our buddies over at /Film have pointed out a new trailer for Boll’s next film titles Storm, or Final Storm if you check out the IMDb page.

To be honest, with Boll’s track record of video game movies, I fully expected Storm to be about the new Blackberry phone; however, the only synopsis I could find for Storm was on IMDb and it looks like I I’ll have to wait for that Blackberry film:
