Hasselhoff Plays It Cool With New Love

18 May 2009 6:30 PM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

David Hasselhoff has no plans to settle down with his new leading lady - insisting he is too busy for love.

The Baywatch star was photographed openly kissing and cuddling hypnotist Kim Stevens at California's Coachella Festival last month, sparking speculation he had moved on after his split from wife Pamela Bach.

The couple, who share two teenage daughters - Hayley, 16, and Taylor-Ann, 19 - divorced in 2006.

But the actor is adamant he is keeping things casual with Kim - because he wants to concentrate on his battle with alcohol addiction.

He says, "I was flirting with a waitress and my daughter, Hayley, said to me, 'She only likes you because you're rich, famous and on TV, Dad.' So I said, 'What's wrong with that?' Hayley said I wasn't allowed to date anyone under 40 - but I've got it down to 28 now!

"I haven't reached that milestone yet where I bring someone home to meet the kids. I'm concentrating on my health, my children's welfare and taking care of my father and ex-wife at the moment. Romance is taking a back seat. But it will come."

Hasselhoff's Ex Wants Spousal Support After Death

11 May 2009 12:25 PM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news

David Hasselhoff's ex-wife Pamela Bach has asked for a court order to ensure she'll receive spousal support payments from the actor in the event of his death.

The former couple - who share teenage daughters Hayley, 16, and Taylor-Ann, 19 - ended their 16-year marriage in 2006 and have endured a lengthy divorce trial.

Hasselhoff's health was publicly questioned when his alcohol problems were exposed the following year, when home video footage of the actor in a drunken state leaked onto the internet.

The 56-year-old checked into a rehabilitation facility in a bid to kick his drink demons following public pleas from Bach, who admitted she was worried he could drink himself to death.

According to TMZ.com, Bach has now taken action on her concern and has asked a California judge to order Hasselhoff to maintain his current life insurance policy, which would pay her spousal support from beyond his grave.

Over the weekend, it was reported that David Hasselhoff's daughter found him drunk, passed out, and foaming at the mouth from alcohol poisoning. Hasselhoff's lawyers, who spoke to TMZ, blame The Hoff's ex-wife, Pamela Bach, for grossly exaggerating the details of what went down prior to Hasselhoff's hospitalization. (It was also report ...

Don't believe the Hoff hype. Los Angeles, California (X17online) - There are conflicting reports about what led David Hasselholff's ex wife to rush the former "Baywatch" star to the hospital over the weekend. While it seems clear that alcohol was a factor, he was not suffering from alcohol poisoning as was initially reported. According to TMZ, the reports that Hasselhoff was rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital after being discovered passed by his teenaged daughter aren't true and may have been planted by his ex-wife Pamela Bach. Hasselhoff's reps say the actor, who has had a long struggle with alcohol, was drinking this weekend, but that was not the reason for the hospital visit. The America's Got Talent judge was admitted to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday night - with reports claiming he was in a serious condition.

Radar Online reported that Hasselhoff collapsed at his Encino, California home and was found by his 16-year-old daughter Hayley, who alerted his ex-wife Pamela Bach and took him to hospital.

His rep Judy Katz tells TMZ.com, "(Hasslehoff) is fine and well and happy and is celebrating his father, Joe Hasselhoff's 80th birthday tonight at dinner... along with his girlfriend, Kimberly."

The star's lawyer, Mel Goldsman, has also hit out at the reports - accusing Bach of leaking the story to the press and vowing to pursue the matter in court.

He adds, "(Bach) in violation of the court's order precluding contacting the media regarding her ex husband."

Hasselhoff’s alcohol problems were exposed in 2007 when home video footage of the star in a drunken state leaked onto the internet.
