His collaborations with Jr. Vasquez and other world renown DJ's have given Kevin Aviance an unparalleled reputation as a performer with a distinct New York flavor. Member of the legendary "House of Aviance", his dance single "Alive" rose to Number #1 on the Billboard charts in 2002. He is a staple performer at Jr. Vasquez's Earth party in New York's Hell's Kitchen.

Is also a recording artist, released the Album "Box of Chocolates" and re-made Nitzer Ebb's "Join In The Chant."

Was savagely attack by four men on June 11, 2006 in New York City who were chanting anti-gay slurs. The attack resulted in Aviance suffering a broken jaw. The four suspects were later tracked down and arrested.
