Jeanne Aubert (1900–1988)

Jeanne Aubert was the daughter of a French Aristocrat and a Flower-girl. At the age of 5, she had already worked as an extra in 'Le Chatelet'. As a teenager, she studied voice and music. She was, by her marriage to Nelson II Morris, known as Colonel Nelson Morris, related to Louis F. Swift and Edward Morris, two of the magnates of the USA meatpacking industry. Later in life, she was the companion of Olympe-Charles Hériot (1887-1953) whose family created and owned the Paris department store Les Grands Magazins du Louvre.
