Man City vs Man Utd: Team News – Live On Sky Sports 1

9 December 2012 5:20 AM, PST | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

Today’s early kick-off in the Premier League sees Manchester United making the short trip across the city to the Etihad stadium to face Mancini’s Man City, and the news is that Carlos Tevez starts on the bench against his former club.

City also start without Maicon, who starts on the bench, as well as the injured quartet of Rodwell, Milner (both hamstring), Richards (knee), and Kolarov (thigh). Menawhile both Clichy (ankle), Silva (hamstring) are ruled fit to play.

United are without Anderson (hamstring), Nani (hamstring), Kagawa, and Vidic (both knee), so Jonny Evans starts in the centre of defence alongside Rio Ferdinand, but there is good news on Valencia and Cleverley who both start despite early doubts.

Though the Premier League title won’t be decided today, if United win and pull 6 points ahead of their nearest, fiercest rivals, the pressure will be on Roberto Mancini to close the gap quickly. »

Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham Hotspur – Match Report

24 March 2012 8:30 AM, PDT | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

Coming into this game, it was being highlighted as a ‘must win’ game for Chelsea. This game wasn’t just any race for Champions League football; the game was one of the most anticipated derbies this season. With Spurs’ dip in form in recent games could the away side become closer to Champions league football or could Chelsea relieve the pressure from 6th place Newcastle and keep their Champions league dreams alive.

The game started with both teams playing the ball in the middle of the pitch, Chelsea’s 5th minute chance ended in confusion after Drogba and Lampard chased the same ball. John Terry looked on top of his game, denying several chances by clearing any attempt made by Tottenham. By the 20th minute, both defences were remaining strong which was due to the fact no team had any urgency in attacking. The 25th minute ticked by and still no attempts on goal. »
