Morning Meme: David Burtka Finds Time for E! News, Johnny Depp Angers Christian Coalition, and Chris Colfer's Magic Butt

Once Upon a Time has found Gaston. Sage Brocklebank is stepping away from Psych to play Gaston, which begs the question as to which of his characters will have the coolest name: Gaston, or Officer Buzz McNabb?

Seriously, if this is the whole story, I'm never using PayPal again.

Johnny Depp has ticked off both Focus on the Family and the Christian Coalition by providing vocals to the Babybird track "Jesus Stag Night." So he's my Hero of the Day.

Evidently there is a Tumblr devoted to pictures of cats with large amounts of cash.

I just love the expression of horror on Rep. Michele Bachmann's face when she realizes what 8-year-old Elijah told her.

I don't think that Americans, myself included, have a proper understanding of panto. I certainly don't understand why actor Stevie Webb seemed delighted that Financial Times called his performance in Aladdin "as camp as »

First Cast Image From Jersey Shore Shark Attack

5 December 2011 5:10 PM, PST | DreadCentral.com | See recent Dread Central news »

You know how sometimes you can just look at a person and want nothing more than to punch them in the face? Yeah, we feel like that right about now. Times seven to be exact.

EW scored the first image of the cast of Syfy's upcoming movie that nobody wanted, Jersey Shore Shark Attack, and after seeing it, unless they all die horrible deaths, we actually want to see the flick even less.

Syfy cast Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts on "The Sopranos"), Paul Sorvino (Paul Cicero in Goodfellas), Jack Scalia (Dallas), Joey Fatone (‘N Sync), and William Atherton (Die Hard) in the film. Of course the cast wouldn’t be complete without some chum from MTV’s "Jersey Shore" — it also stars Vinny Guadagnino.

Sirico is Captain Sallie, the wise veteran of boardwalk life and lore. Scalia is Moretti, former Guido beach bum and now police chief. Sorvino portrays the possibly corrupt Mayor, »

“Jersey Shore Shark Attack” – Sweeter Words Never Written

Can you imagine a more perfect combination?

EW reports that SyFy has lined-up an all-star cast for its 2012 yes-this-is-a-real-movie original feature, Jersey Shore Shark Attack. Capitalizing on the popularity of MTV’S Jersey Shore, the SyFy original will star Tony Sirico (The Sopranos), Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), Jack Scalia (Dallas), Joey Fatone (‘N Sync) and William Atherton (Die Hard). And to make it taste truly authentic, the film also features Jersey Shore cast member Vinny Guadagnino among the chum bucket.

Here’s our first look at some of the cast:

Jersey Shore Shark Attack unfolds during the July Fourth weekend at – where else? — the Jersey Shore, where rare swarms of sharks are converging due to illegal underwater drilling. Now the angry sharks are on a rampage, devouring residents, and leaving it up to the locals to try and save the day.

Sirico is Captain Sallie, the wise veteran of boardwalk life and lore. »

'Jersey Shore Shark Attack' hits Syfy ... not kidding

Was Syfy's "Snomageddon" not weird enough for you? Do evil snow globes seem a bit boring? Never fear, my friends. Syfy would never let you down. According to EW, their newest movie will be called "Jersey Shore Shark Attack." (Yes, some of us wish that would really happen too.)

Believe it or not, this film has some big names. Paul Sorvino will be hitting the beach, along with Joey Fatone from 'N Sync, William Atherton and Tony Sirico. Don't worry. The original show will be represented. Vinny Guadagnino from "Jersey Shore" is part of the cast as well.

In case the title wasn't descriptive enough, here is the synopsis. Rare swarms of sharks are hitting the Jersey shore because of illegal underwater drilling, leaving the locals to save the day. (Thanks for the environmental message, Syfy.) Captain Sallie (Sirico) is a local in touch with boardwalk life, Moretti (Jack Scalia »

"I paid a billion dollars for that piece of shit?" Look, the humor of Tim and Eric is not for everyone. In fact, it's not for most people. But if it's for you, today might be the second greatest day of your life. The only day that will be better is when you finally get to see Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie in full. That day is coming soon (it'll be playing at the Sundance Film Festival [1], hit on demand January 27 and be [2] in theaters March 2) but, for now, there's a very, repeat Very, Nsfw red-band trailer for the film featuring Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim, Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, John C. They're all this this trailer, which is slightly more straight forward than the teaser trailer [3] that was out earlier this week. It's after the jump. Red Band Trailer for Tim And Eric’S Billion Dollar Movie

2 December 2011 11:19 AM, PST | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

A full red band trailer for Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie has gone online. The pic marks the first feature-length film from the comedy duo of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. It’s pretty much what you’re expecting from the oddball team. The trailer’s got its fair share of strange moments, and highlights the celebs that pop up throughout the film (Zach Galifianakis, John C. Reilly, Will Ferrell, Will Forte and Jeff Goldblum). If you’re a fan of the show, I’m assuming this trailer will pique your interest. I can appreciate the comedic value of Tim and Eric, but I always feel like I’m on a bad acid trip when watching their stuff (which I guess is the point). Hit the jump to watch the trailer. The film also stars Robert Loggia and William Atherton. The pic is being featured as part of »

"Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie" gets a teaser trailer and release date

30 November 2011 1:26 PM, PST | ifc.com | See recent IFC news »

Much like the television series that inspired it, the first teaser for "Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie" is perplexing, uncomfortable, and yet strangely amusing. It also offers the first information about when the film will hit theaters.

Debuting over at Funny Or Die, the 45-second teaser features a bunch of funny, fictional call-out quotes for the film, then shifts to a short series of clips that define explanation, and closes with the news that the film will be available via on-demand video on January 27 and in theaters March 2.

While you won't learn any of this from the teaser, the film is written and directed by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim of "Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job," and (according to various reports) tells the story of two men who spend $1 billion on a movie. The film is reported to co-star Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Robert Loggia, »

#Shrim... What is 'Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie'? Here's the Teaser Trailer

This morning I saw several people posting the teaser trailer for Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie. I had no idea what it was and just a few minutes ago received an email about it so I felt I should probably give it a look. After watching the teaser trailer, which you can watch below, I still have no idea what it was about, but apparently it has something to do with an out of shape woman in a blue swimsuit yelling "Shrim" and a man with a long neck also yelling "Shrim" before his face is morphed onto hers at which time they collectively yell... yup... "Shrim". Here's the synopsis: Two guys get a billion dollars to make a movie, only to watch their dream run off course... ‘Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie’ Teaser Trailer; Release Dates Announced

30 November 2011 11:00 AM, PST | Slash Film | See recent Slash Film news »

In the grand tradition of Tim & Eric, I have no idea what exactly it is you are about to watch. It is, without a doubt, 42 seconds of video teasing the release of Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, starring, written and directed by the team behind Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. According to this tease (a teaser trailer, I guess), it'll be released in theaters on March 2, 2012 and on-demand January 27, 2012. Previous reports have stated [1] it's a movie about what happens when two men spend $1 billion on a movie and co-stars Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Robert Loggia, Jeff Goldblum, Will Forte and William Atherton along with its titular duo. But you'll see none of them in this trailer. Check out the madness after the jump. Teaser Trailer for Tim And Eric’S Billion Dollar Movie

30 November 2011 9:41 AM, PST | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

There's not much of a middle-ground when it comes to Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! It's unlike anything else on TV, and it can probably best be described as a public access-style sketch comedy show on acid.  When I first saw Tim and Eric, I was won over by its originality and utter insanity.  But over time, I saw it was only one note of utter insanity.  It's still a note unlike any other you'll hear played, but it gets to be tiresome after a while. Case in point: the teaser trailer for Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim's first feature-length film, Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie.  You'll watch it, you'll know it's Tim and Eric, and you're either on board or you're not.  Hit the jump to check out the teaser.  The film also stars John C. Our initial report on the first feature film from Cartoon Network's Adult Swim stars Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim of "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!" had a wide array of comedic talent lining up for the aptly named Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie. The film will feature Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and strange inclusions like William Atherton (Walter Peck from Ghostbusters) and veteran actor Robert Loggia. However, you won't see any of them in this unsurprisingly weird and off-the-wall teaser trailer for the film which promises pure insanity. Watch the trailer below! There was a lot of chatter earlier this year about the brewing "Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie." From the mad minds of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, their big screen outing following the end of the cult hit "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!" attracted a host of comedian and actor buds for roles/cameo appearances including Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly (sadly, not playing Steve Brule), Robert Loggia, Jeff Goldblum, Will Forte and William Atherton. And aside from Magnolia Pictures snapping up the rights, we haven't heard much since. Well, damn, the movie is done and will be ready for your eyeballs in all of two months. »
