Raised in Sussex, Richard Osman, 45, is a television writer who helped develop the format for the BBC quiz show Pointless and, in 2009, found himself cast as co-host with Alexander Armstrong. His other work includes presenting Two Tribes and appearances on Have I Got News For You and Qi; he is a contestant on the new series of Taskmaster on Dave. He is divorced, has two children and lives in London.

When were you happiest?

Probably when Fulham beat Juventus 4-1 in the Europa League.

Danger Mouse: revamped show renewed for second series

Cbbc has ordered another pile of Danger Mouse episodes, with Alexander Armstrong and Kevin Eldon set to return...

Cbbc’s Danger Mouse revamp has been renewed for a second series. You’d expect the show’s impressive voice cast – including Alexander Armstrong, Kevin Eldon, Dave Lamb, Stephen Fry and Lena Headey – to assemble once again.

Alexander Armstrong is definitely coming back, and he had this to say about the renewal:

“I have had enormous fun playing Danger Mouse, whose style, bravery and wit I greatly admire. I am almost unbearably excited about what new magnificent missions and terrifying situations the writing team will come up with for Danger Mouse and Penfold in series two!”

Penfold himself, Mr Kevin Eldon, added this: 

“It’s a funny old world. You get no series of Danger Mouse for 23 years and then two come along at once. All right, there’s been 18 months between them, »

Preacher

With a month to go before the premiere, AMC's TV series adaptation of the acclaimed "Preacher" comics has released multiple photos and launched a new promo counting down to the start of what will hopefully be an acclaimed run. Ruth Negga can be seen in the clip in her role as ex-girlfriend Tulip O'Hare, one of three major roles which also include Dominic Cooper as the preacher himself Jesse Custer, and Joe Gilgun as his hard-drinking Irish vampire buddy Cassidy.

Manhunt

"Happy Endings" creator David Caspe, "Horrible Bosses" director Seth Gordon, Black List writer Jordan Cahan and "Life In Pieces" executive producer Aaron Kaplan are all teaming for the half-hour buddy action comedy series "Manhunt" at Showtime. Specifics of the plot are under wraps. Caspe and Cahan penned the project, Gordon will direct while all four will executive produce. [Source: Deadline]
