Spider-Man: Homecoming Photos Spotlight Peter Parker’s High School Life

We’re swinging ever closer to the release date of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the much-anticipated first Spidey solo movie to come from the unprecedented deal between Marvel Studios and Sony. With only a couple of months left to go now before it arrives, the studio is continuing to tease us with new promotional material and the latest arrives in the form of a few stills, which you can see below.

We say tease because this set of images hold off on the Spider-Man-centric part of the movie and instead highlight Peter Parker’s high school life. Specifically, we have a shot of Peter (Tom Holland) and his best friend Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) in the school hallway, one of Peter getting stuck into some classroom science and another one of him skulking through the deserted halls with Ned looking shocked to the side. Stranger Things and Westworld land 2017 DGA TV Awards nominations

It’s that time of year, the time of year where the awards and awards nominations for TV and film are being announced in droves. Today is no different as the Directors Guild of America has just announced their 2017 TV nominations.

Stranger Things, Westworld and Game of Thrones all make the list, along with Donald Glover’s Atlanta showing up in the comedy category.

2016 Directors Guild of America Documentary and TV Nominations: The Year of O.J. Continues

The Directors Guild of America has announced the nominees in the documentary and television categories for this year’s DGA Awards, with O.J. Simpson present in both fields: “O.J.: Made in America” and “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” both picked up nods. Other contenders include “Atlanta,” “Westworld” and “The Eagle Huntress.” The feature film nominees, meanwhile, are scheduled to be announced tomorrow.

This year’s ceremony takes place on February 4 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Full list of nominees below:
