doctors, and aristocratic types on Broadway; active from 1900-1934.
Career highlight was acting as "Mr. Fitch" in
George S. Kaufman's hit original
cast production of Dinner at Eight which ran for 232 performances at
the Music Box Theatre from Oct 22, 1932- May 1933. Alison was also
starred in Kaufman's 1925 hit production of The Butter and Egg Man (243
performances) that was directed by
James Gleason.
