Marc Alaimo was born on May 5, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA as Michael Anthony Alaimo. He is an actor, known for Total Recall (1990), Tango & Cash (1989) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993).

Shares a May 5 birthday with both a son and daughter.
Has played more distinct roles than anyone else on "Star Trek": two different humans, two different Cardassians, an Antican and a Romulan. Nicknamed "The Neck" by his fellow actors on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993).
As of October 2001, his record for most "Star Trek" characters played has been tied by Jeffrey Combs.
Has played the very first Cardassian character ever seen in the Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) episode "The Wounded". His prominent neck inspired make-up artist Michael Westmore to give the Cardassians their familiar neck ridges.
Vaughn Armstrong has now played the most characters (eleven) on "Star Trek". Jeffrey Combs, J.G. Hertzler, Randy Oglesby and Thomas Kopache have all played seven characters, putting Alaimo in third place with six.
