Harley Quinn Puts The Pedal To The Metal In Suicide Squad Set Video

18 hours ago | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

The seemingly relentless stream of behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the set of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad continues today, following up on the stills of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s Killer Croc taking a well-deserved breather between takes, not to mention the photos showcasing the dysfunctional relationship between Harley Quinn and The Joker. Now, we have been treated to a couple more multimedia tidbits from the Toronto production that focus on the latter two members of Task Force X as they zip around the streets of the Canadian city.

Captured from the same segment as the photos from earlier in the week, the set video shows Margot Robbie’s Quinn riding a motorbike either alongside The Joker or being pursued by him. When it comes to DC’s atypical couple, anything is possible.

Unfortunately, the snippet doesn’t reveal an awful lot, save for The Joker’s ostentatious sports car, which »

Suicide Squad movie: Everything you need to know about the members, cast, release date and more

20 May 2015 5:55 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - Movie News news »

With filming now well under way on Warner Bros and DC Comics' Suicide Squad movie, it seems like the perfect time to cast an eye over the lesser-known members of the world of Batman and Superman.

Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis and Jai Courtney lead the cast of the superhero film.

Suicide Squad is scheduled for release on August 5, 2016.

What we've seen so far

The movie has attracted a lot of attention as images of the Suicide Squad's members in costume began to roll out.

Leto showed off his new muscles, which everyone seemed to be fine with.

What fans have been less keen on is the photo of his tattooed and be-grilled Joker.

Despite suggestions that this was a concept that wouldn't show up in the film itself, shots from the set have dashed these hopes to pieces. »

Suicide Squad Set Photos Showcase Harley Quinn And The Joker’s Dysfunctional Relationship

As you read this, the streets of Toronto are playing host to David Ayer’s upcoming villain-centric Suicide Squad, and following last week’s on set stills of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s foreboding Killer Croc, a fresh batch has arrived online today that showcase the dysfunctional relationship between Harley Quinn and Jared Leto’s Joker.

Interestingly, Margot Robbie’s Quinn is seen sporting normal attire, hinting that Ayer will introduce fans to a much more rational and sane Dr. Harleen Quinzel, who acted as a psychiatrist in Arkham Asylum prior to her first encounter with DC’s deranged supervillain. In addition, the stills embedded in the gallery above showcase another look at the tattooed Leto as the Joker who, despite naysayers, embodies the infamous big bad relatively well, replete with those lime-green locks.

The scene in question appears to be a flashback sequence with Robbie portraying psychiatrist Dr Harleen Quinzel and demanding the Joker gets out of the car.

Suicide Squad Set Photos Show Joker and Harley Quinn’s Twisted Relationship

18 May 2015 12:42 PM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

New Suicide Squad set photos has leaked online, and it shows that the toxic Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) / Joker (Jared Leto) relationship is intact. The darkly comic characters (the measure of darkness and comedy varies by writer) have a unique dynamic in DC Comics, and the challenge for any writer is to make them compelling and powerful while not using real domestic abuse for entertainment value. We have to find both characters engaging even though they can both be repugnant. This photos gives us a brief sense of how director David Ayer plans to pull that off. In the scene, Harley pulls a gun on Joker, and then he takes it away before backhanding her.  There was some video from the set earlier where you couldn't hear any of the dialogue beyond Harley shouting, “Get out of the car!” but one thing is for certain: Leto’s performance involves a lot of hip waving. »

So You're Mad at 'Game of Thrones' are Youc

18 May 2015 10:22 AM, PDT | Rope of Silicon | See recent Rope Of Silicon news »

I hadn't yet watched last week's episode of "Game of Thrones" so it was a double feature for me last night as I watched "Kill the Boy" and then last night's episode, "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken". However, before watching either of them I edited and published Mike's reviews and recaps and I, for one, was thankful he didn't spoil last night's ending in his article, though he definitely piqued my interest when he wrote "something so horrid, so unforgivable happens" in this episode. Whatc! I hit publish and rushed to my DVR. I'd noticed some debate over last week's episode, some calling it too slow, though I found it to be wonderfully intriguing as the pieces seem to be moving around the board in just such a way to offer something compelling come the final four episodes of this fifth season. That said, as much as I would like to discuss »

Suicide Squad’s ‘Joker’ Exposed In New Set Video

They haven’t been doing their best to cover up shooting on the set of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, and now, via a cheeky fan, we have our best look yet at Jared Leto’s Joker in the film.

The following was captured over the weekend and shows Leto’s Joker having an argument with Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in the street next to what looks like The Joker’s purple Lamborghini. Apparently the vehicle sports the registration “Hahaha.”
