Another Batch Of Suicide Squad Stills Showcase Best Look At The Batsuit To Date

Just when you thought you got your daily fix of Suicide Squad photos, Just Jared goes ahead and serves up what is arguably the best look at Ben Affleck’s Batsuit to date – well, Affleck’s stunt double, but it’s a good look nonetheless.

Showcasing The Caped Crusader latching on to Harley Quinn and The Joker’s supercar as it tears through the streets of Toronto, these images are slightly different from what we’ve seen before in that Margot Robbie’s unhinged femme fatale is riding shotgun. Of course, given that David Ayer’s superhero flick is very much in the early stages of production, the director could be experimenting with various takes of the same action sequence, particularly when you factor in those stills from last week that showcased Jared Leto’s street criminal pursuing Quinn in the same modified car.

Update: Some Great Closeups Of The Bat-Suit In Latest Suicide Squad Set Pics

28 May 2015 9:15 AM, PDT | ComicBookMovie.com | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

We had to do a double take to make sure that wasn't Affleck in the Bat-suit, but apparently it's just his stunt double after all. By the looks of things it's also Jared Leto's double driving the car, even though that's unmistakably Margot Robbie as Harley in the passenger's seat. Anyway, we still get some great snaps of the full costume (minus the cape), and it can't be long until we get to see that first face-off between Affleck's Batman amd Jared Leto's Joker. Update: Screencrush has added a few more hi-res pics like the one below. Click Here to see the rest. Directed by David Ayer from his script, Suicide Squad stars Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jared Leto (the Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Jessie Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc »

Batman May Appear in ‘Suicide Squad’ After All

27 May 2015 4:57 PM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

When iconic Batman villains the Joker (Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) were announced as part of Warner Bros.’ “Suicide Squad” lineup, fans began to wonder whether Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight might also appear in David Ayer’s supervillain team-up film.

Now it appears we may have our answer, after multiple onlookers shot video of a car chase being filmed on the streets of Toronto featuring what appears to be the Batmobile pursuing the Joker’s sports car.

In one video, the Joker’s neon green hair is visible through the driver’s side window.

In another, posted Wednesday, Batman (sans cape) can be seen riding on top of the villain’s vehicle as it swerves through the streets, much to the delight of the gathered crowd.

Given the danger of the stunt, it’s unlikely to be Affleck beneath Batman’s cowl, but the scene does give »

The rumours of a Batman cameo in DC super-villain movie Suicide Squad appear to be true

27 May 2015 4:42 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - Movie News news »

The rumours of Batman making an appearance in the DC super-villain team-up movie Suicide Squad appear to be true.

A stuntman wearing Batman's signature cape and cowl could be seen shooting a car chase in downtown Toronto on Wednesday (May 27).

New Batman actor Ben Affleck was reportedly on set last month, and yesterday the Batmobile was used in scenes with Joker and Harley Quinn actors Jared Leto and Margot Robbie, according to multiple outlets.

Writer-director David Ayer's DC universe movie brings together villains Deadshot (Will Smith), Boomerang (Jai Courtney) and Harley Quinn on a mission of redemption commanded by government operative Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman).

Suicide Squad includes other memorable DC villains as well, with Cara Delevingne portraying the mystical Enchantress and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje playing classic Batman baddie Killer Croc.

Batman Crashes Joker’s Party In Latest Suicide Squad Set Video

27 May 2015 8:19 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

With his trusty vehicular companion already spotted on the set of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, it was only a matter of time before The Caped Crusader himself showed up to foil the Joker’s party on the streets of Toronto. As if Jared Leto’s psychotic criminal didn’t already have his hands full with his eclectic love interest Harley Quinn, the latest stream of videos hitting the interwebs showcase Ben Affleck’s Batman hitching a ride on the roof of the Joker’s flashy sports car.

This is the first footage of The World’s Greatest Detective from the production, after his involvement in Ayer’s villain-centric feature first broke a few weeks back. How exactly this ties into the overarching plot and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice remains to be seen – for instance, will Jared Leto cameo in Zack Snyder’s titanic film next year? – but »

Suicide Squad Set Videos and Photos Reveal Batman in Action and Mysterious Creatures

27 May 2015 8:02 AM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

Warning: These Suicide Squad set videos and photos spoil what looks to be a significant action sequence in the film. If you'd rather not know what happens, do not read this post or watch these videos! Want to see more of what happens during that car chase between Batman (Ben Affleck) and The Joker (Jared Leto)? Honestly, I didn't, but we're still getting more Suicide Squad set videos and photos, and this next batch features Batman riding on top of The Joker's car while it zips down the street. It's definitely kind of neat to get a behind-the-scenes peek at a stunt like that, but at what point is Warner Bros. going to up the security and stop photographers from spoiling the entire film? On top of that, some mysterious creatures were also spotted on the set. There's one photo of them below, but if you'd like to get a closer look, »

Suicide Squad Set Videos Reveal a Very Familiar Vehicle Pursuing The Joker

26 May 2015 6:54 AM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

The Suicide Squad set photos and videos continue to pour in, and this latest batch contains a pretty big spoiler for the film. Last warning. This post contains a possible Suicide Squad plot spoiler! The moment DC and Warner Bros. unveiled that massive cinematic universe line-up, we knew there was going to be character crossovers. Sure enough, back in January, two reports surfaced claiming that Ben Affleck’s Batman will cameo in Suicide Squad. One insisted he’d only appear in video footage and not in the flesh, but the other said he’s got an “in-story scene, likely at the end of the film,” that focuses on circumstances involving The Joker and would help set up a Batman solo movie in which The Joker could be a primary villain. About three months later, photos of Affleck on the Toronto set of Suicide Squad popped up suggesting that he really »

David Ayer’s Suicide Squad film is about to enter its seventh week of production and has once again fallen victim to a slew of leaked images thanks to eager, eagle-eyed fans watching from afar. We’ve already seen shots of Harley Quinn encountering the Joker and close-ups of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s Killer Croc, and now we have a glimpse at one of the film’s biggest surprises yet.

A new batch of photos feature preparation for an action sequence showing a helicopter crashing into two Midway City buses, along with what looks like a pack of mysterious, grossly mutated soldiers.

Based solely on their appearance, it’s hard to tell exactly who these fully-armed sludge men are. One character we have yet to see enter the fray is Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress. Could these soldiers-turned-creatures be a product of one of her powerful spells? Anything is possible, »
