The “Gilmore Girls” has found a new home.
Up has acquired all seven seasons of the family drama from Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, the network announced Thursday at the Television Critics Association press tour. The 153 episodes will begin airing on Up this fall.
“We’ve acquired one of the most beloved shows in family TV history, and we are thrilled to add such a critically acclaimed family series to our lineup,” said Up exec VP and general manager Amy Winter in a statement.
“‘Gilmore Girls’ is a fan-favorite series that retains a very large and passionate following,” added Up senior VP of programming Sophia Kelley, who negotiated the deal. “The strong and loving mother-daughter relationship portrayed in ‘Gilmore Girls’ is a beautiful testament to the wonderful power of family drama. The series is a perfect fit for our brand of family entertainment.”

Lauren Graham is spilling the tea about her on-screen daughter's hot hookups! The "Gilmore Girls" star stopped by "Watch What Happens Live" on Wednesday night, where host Andy Cohen quizzed her on Alexis Bledel's TV boyfriends. A fan asked the hard-hitting question: Which one of Rory Gilmore's boyfriends would she want to hook up with in real life? "Ooo! Would I want to? Oh, um, Milo? Milo. I'm a brunette person. Milo Ventimiglia," Graham admitted. Of course, in real life, she's still with partner and former "Parenthood" costar Peter Krause. Check out the clip above to see her squirm as she answers the question! It's been 8 years since the finale of the beloved series, and the cast recently reunited at the Austin TV Festival to reminisce about their time in Stars Hollow. While Melissa McCarthy couldn't make it, Graham, Bledel, Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Yanic Truesdale, »

This weekend's Atx Fest hosted a major milestone: A reunion of (almost) the entire cast of "Gilmore Girls," including Alexis Bledel, Lauren Graham, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Danny Strong, Jackson Douglas, Matt Czuchry, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Liz Torres, Sean Gunn, and Yanic Truesdale. (Sadly, Edward Herrmann, who played Grandpa Richard Gilmore, passed away last year. Melissa McCarthy, meanwhile, is off being an international superstar.) The beloved WB series will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year, and since a new generation of fans is now discovering the show on Netflix, festival organizers thought it was high time to get the Stars Hollow gang back together for some reminiscing.
In a panel moderated by Entertainment Weekly, as well as a separate one-on-one interview with creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, cast and crew spilled about their memories of shooting the pilot, which couples wound up together, and how Sherman-Palladino had »

“There’s no way I’m going to top this experience, this cast, these leading ladies here. … And that’s Ok. Some people get lucky and some people don’t. And, God, I got so lucky.”
Those words, spoken with grateful exhaustion by Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, closed the show’s reunion panel at the Atx Television Festival on Saturday night. What preceded those words was a 90-minute love fest between the cast, the packed theater of adoring fans and the woman responsible for bringing them all together.
The Atx Television Festival played host to a “Gilmore Girls” reunion of epic proportions on Saturday night, with creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, exec producer Daniel Palladino and stars Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Jared Padalecki, Matt Czuchry, Yanic Truesdale, Liz Torres, Jackson Douglas, Todd Lowe, John Cabrera, Danny Strong and Milo Ventimiglia reuniting to look back on their time in Stars Hollow and where their careers have taken them since the show ended in 2007.
Here’s what we learned from the raucous, fast-talking panel:
Despite Patterson’s recent comments about a potential revival, Sherman-Palladino burst fans’ bubble by admitting “there’s nothing in the works at the moment.” However, she promised, “If it ever happened, I promise we’d do it correctly … Nobody here hates each other, which is very important. It would have to be the right everything, the right format, the right timing, »

We're already impatient for the upcoming "Gilmore Girls" reunion slated for Atx Festival next month. But according to one of the series's stars, something else -- perhaps onscreen (?!) -- may be in the works, too.
Scott Patterson, who played curmudgeonly diner owner (and Lorelai's Otp) Luke Danes in the beloved WB/CW series, stopped by a recent episode of the Gilmore Guys podcast to chat about the show and dish out some scoop about a mysterious maybe-reunion that's currently being discussed with the cast. Though Patterson declined to provide any specifics, he told the hosts that hope for an onscreen revival of the seven season series may still be a possibility.
"I don't want to mislead the fans," Patterson told the podcasters. "I will say this, there are talks going on at the moment. I can't really go into any details, but there is some activity. I'm hopeful, and I'm in. »

Gilmore Girls fans, blast your Carole King — because more cast members from the beloved WB show have signed on for the upcoming 15th anniversary reunion panel at the Atx Television Festival in June. That list included main Gilmore players Scott Patterson (Luke Danes), Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), and Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester). Liza Weil (Paris Geller), Keiko [...] »
