“Page Six TV” has finalized its production team and set a launch date of Sept. 18.

Unscripted TV vets Kay O’Connell and Michael Bachmann have been named exec producers for the syndicated entertainment news and gossip show. The half-hour has been cleared in more than 200 markets covering 98% of U.S. TV households.

Fox Television Stations are the anchor group for the show, which is a cross-Murdoch empire effort involving the resources and buzzy brand name of the New York Post’s iconic gossip section, the Fox O&Os, the Twentieth Television distribution arm and the Endemol Shine North America production unit.

“Page Six TV” had a three-week test run last summer, performing well enough to encourage the Fox team to move forward with a national rollout. Tartikoff Awards Celebrate TV’s Innovators and Influencers

Miami — “Between Two Ferns” made a surprise appearance at this year’s Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards ceremony.

Josh Sapan, AMC Networks’ president-ceo, delivered a delightfully unconventional spin on a tribute video as he was honored Wednesday night along with YouTube’s Susanne Daniels, Univision’s Randy Falco, multihyphenate Eva Longoria and Fox’s Gary Newman and Dana Walden.

Sapan’s reel for the ceremony, held at the Fontainebleau Hotel as part of the annual Natpe conference, featured the veteran cable executive sitting for an offbeat interview with Zach Galifianakis on the mock talk show that has become a staple of Funny or Die. (AMC just bought a minority stake in the digital comedy service.)

Gale Anne Hurd, exec producer of AMC’s smash hit “The Walking Dead,” presented the kudo to Sapan, calling him a rare example of an executive who combines “a first-rate business mind with the heart of a creative.” Sapan

CBS Sets Big Football Launch Platform for Reality Series ‘Hunted’

CBS is devoting one of its strongest launch platforms to the reality series “Hunted,” which will debut Jan. 22 on the heels of the NFL’s Afc championship game.

The series has been a high priority for CBS Entertainment president Glenn Geller. “Hunted” marks the first unscripted series he ordered after his promotion to head of entertainment programming in September 2015.

“Hunted” is also a big bet for Endemol Shine North America, which like CBS is in need of a new reality franchise. The company has been in the midst of an executive shuffle at the top, with co-ceo Charlie Corwin leaving the company earlier this month and Cris Abrego assuming the reins as solo CEO.

Based on a U.K. format, “Hunted” sends teams of ordinary people off on a mission to evade capture by an elite team of investigators. Teams that can stay underground for 28 days earn a grand prize of $250,000. Laura Fuest Silva, Brian Catalina
