Brian Abbot was born in 1911 in Australia. He was an actor, known for Wild Innocence (1936) and Mystery Island (1937). He died in 1936 in Lord Howe Island, New South Wales, Australia.
In 1936 he and fellow actor Desmond Hay set out from Lord Howe Island in an
open longboat and were never seen again.
His grandson, 'Philip Powers (I)', is also a member of the Australian film
industry, with credits as a composer, and over 30 Australian feature
films as film soundtrack album producer.
