If you enjoy Tom Selleck as Jesse Stone, catch him while you can.
That's the word from the Emmy-winning actor himself. Having wrapped up the sophomore round of his CBS police drama "Blue Bloods," returning this fall for a third season, he's also appearing in the network's eighth film about novelist Robert B. Parker's small-town-loner New England sleuth. "Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt" airs Sunday, May 20, and Selleck says it could be his last time in the role ... for CBS, anyway.
"Bless them, they've done eight of these that always perform far above what's normally in the time slot," he tells Zap2it. "but they are constantly perplexed [by the thought], 'We're not in the two-hour-movie business.' That being said, that's not the end of Jesse, or at least I don't think so. There are a lot of other entities, whether cable or even feature films, but this is most »

The seemingly endless wait for the Syfy summer schedule is finally over! There is good news and bad, and one thing that is both good and bad. Let’s start with that: the Eureka Season Finale. We love Eureka, so every episode is good news; the fact that it’s a series finale, not so much. Mark your calendars – and have plenty of Kleenex in stock – for July 16 at 9/8c. Right after Comic-Con, which is early this year. We’ll see if that means a panel or not.
The good news: Warehouse 13 and Alphas return on July 23. The hmmm news is that Lost Girl will move to Fridays at 10 on July 20. Hey That’S Haven’S Spot. So Where The Heck Is Haven? Admittedly we had a head’s up that Haven would be pushed to fall when we learned that the DVDs for Season 2 weren’t being released until September but Argh. »

Eddie McClintock photographed by Clinton Gaughran for AfterElton
It's no secret that we're big fans of Eddie McClintock around here. The sexy star of Warehouse 13 has not one, not two, but three photo galleries on our Facebook page, and had us tuning in to the show long before they ever introduced a gay character last year. The former wrestler from Ohio is loudly pro-equality, with a wicked sense of humor that comes from a genuine place in his heart. He recently spoke with me about the show, playing gay on Felicity, growing up in the Midwest, his family, and the created family he now has on Warehouse 13. He even invited us into his home for a revealing photo shoot. This is obviously the beginning of my campaign to have him in our Hot 100 this year.
SyFy did have one condition: We weren't allowed to talk about any spoilers from the upcoming season, »

When Clint Eastwood made Unforgiven in 1992, he was in a transitional period of his career. Though he was still making pop junk like Pink Cadillac and The Rookie, he had also directed Bird - which started his career as an art-house/Oscar friendly director (though that film was mostly ignored). Eastwood was getting old, and there was sense that he had to stop playing these sorts of role. Unforgiven was his great Western standoff, and he assembled a great cast that included Morgan Freeman, Gene Hackman, and Richard Harris in a career-defining work. Our review of the Blu-ray of Unforgiven follows after the jump. The film begins with an incident in a whorehouse. Two cowboys cut up a young prostitute, and when sheriff “Little” Bill Daggett (Hackman) offers the ladies less justice than they wanted, the prostitutes band together to offer a bounty. William Munny (Eastwood) is living on a farm with his children, »

Chicago – Clint Eastwood’s “Unforgiven” is one of the most influential movies on my decision to become a film critic. And yet, as most people are, I was concerned that perhaps I viewed the film through the rose-colored glasses of perspective. Was it as good as I remembered? Does it hold up? Hell yes it does and it’s never looked better than it does on the stunning new transfer from Warner Brothers for its 20th anniversary Blu-ray.
Rating: 5.0/5.0
The special features have been available before and, of course, “Unforgiven” is one of those films that has played regularly on cable and done well on DVD since it simply dominated the Oscars almost twenty years ago (winning Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Editing in early 1993…how it lost Best Original Screenplay to “The Crying Game” is beyond me. I like Jordan’s film but it hasn »

D.J. Haza presents the next entry in his series of films to watch before you die...
Unforgiven, 1992.
Directed by Clint Eastwood.
Starring Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, Richard Harris, Jaimz Woolvett and Saul Rubinek.
Unforgiven is the magnificent and dark story of William Munny (Eastwood) returning to his old ways as a gunslinger and taking on one last job in order to feed his young family. The film is one of only three Westerns ever to win the Oscar for Best Picture after Cimarron (1931) and Dances with Wolves (1990).
The story follows Munny as he leaves his new life of farming with his two young children in order to take on the job of killing two cowboys in Big Whiskey, Wyoming. The cowboys took it upon themselves to brutally cut up the face of a prostitute in the town and the other local prostitutes have all banded together and »

"The Grey" and "The A-Team" director Joe Carnahan has been hired to write and direct a reboot of the vigilante action franchise "Death Wish" at MGM, Paramount and Scott Free says The Los Angeles Times.
The original 1974 Charles Bronson-led thriller follows an architect whose wife is raped and murdered and his daughter savagely beaten by three hoods.
Said architect becomes a one-man assassin killing criminals on the New York streets. Jeff Goldblum, Denzel Washington and "Warehouse 13" star Saul Rubinek all have small roles as crims, while filmmaker Christopher Guest plays a cop.
Sylvester Stallone previously tried to reboot the property five years ago but it didn't get into production. Jules Daly will produce. »

Such great news! And really, unprecedented in the new model that cable series have been following over the past few years. Warehouse 13, along with most cable shows, has had 13-episode seasons for its first three seasons, the most recent of which concluded last fall.
Deadline now reports that Syfy is close to finalizing a deal for an additional 7 episodes, taking the season to 20 episodes, really a season and a half in the cable world, and close to a full big-network-sized season. Hopefully this longer season won’t equate to a longer wait for season 5, but will simply be more great original programming from one of our favorite networks. It would be a viewer win, and likely a Syfy ratings win as well.
We’d be okay with the episodes added to the front end of the season, and maybe get a May launch instead of the traditional July? Hey, »

Running the full emotional gambit - from completely silly to heart wrenchingly sad - "The Radio Job" will go down as one of my favorite episodes of Leverage.
On one end of the emotional spectrum, we had some of the funniest moments this show has offered. How could you not love the nod to Die Hard from Eliot as he was communicating with Special Agent Dennis Powell? The latter was on the verge of being over acted by the always great Michael Paré, but just when I thought it was going over the edge, he reigned it back in.
We also had Parker, Hardison and Eliot's initial break in. If I was Hardison, I would have asked the same thing about why he is always being pushed off of stuff. Was anyone else waiting for Eliot to knock him out after Parker suggested he be unconscious?
The icing on the »
