Though born in Argentina, Fabiana Udenio grew up in Italy and at the age of 14 was crowned Miss Teen Italy. She began her professional acting career that same year. She has worked as a character actress for more than 20 years, often playing the foreign beauty, whether it be Italian, Brazilian or Ukrainian. She has worked extensively in film and television with starring roles in such movies as Summer School (1987) and Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) and recurring roles in series such as "Mad About You" (1992). "Babylon 5" (1994) and "The Magnificent Seven" (1998). She starred alongside C. Thomas Howell and Carol Alt in the syndicated series "Amazon" (1999) and guest-starred in dozens of television shows, including "Cheers" (1982), "NYPD Blue" (1993) and "Baywatch" (1989).

So impressive was Fabiana in her audition that the role of the foreign exchange student was rewritten from a Swedish to an Italian student. A former Miss Teenager of Italy, Miss Udenio first came to this country to perform at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics Arts Festival, at which she played "Miranda" in "The Tempest". Returning to Italy, she successfully auditioned for the ABC-TV daytime drama, "One Life to Live" (1968), which was being filmed on location in Venice. She returned with the company to New York where she continued for one year in the role of "Giulietta". After completing a role in the CBS mini-series, The Scarlet and the Black (1983) (TV), Miss Udenio returned to Italy and swiftly won a starring role in Hardbodies 2 (1986), which was filmed on location in Greece. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina but raised in Italy, she is fluent in four languages.
