Besides acting, it now seems that the writing bug has bitten the Hooda boy and which is why he is now all set to write a film. Reports state that the film he is writing will be revolving around boxing and will be based on Bhiwani district (Haryana). If the buzz is to be believed, then, the film might just be titled as Bhiwani and will be directed by Ashwini Chaudhary (who had earlier directed Jodi Breakers). Whether Randeep Hooda will act in the film is something that only time will tell.

It seems that the director Kabir Khan has also cast Nawazuddin in his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Speaking about Nawazuddin, Kabir said that after having worked with him first in New York, he really wanted to do another film with him. That's why he signed him for a very interesting role in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, since he wanted to offer him a role that suited his caliber. When asked about Nawazuddin's character, Kabir replied that his character is that of someone who has shades of grey and challenges Salman Khan, but is not a direct opponent. »

A news report that Subhash Ghai's Khalnayak, the 1993 ominous thriller about a terrorist on the run which was released when the leading man Sanjay Dutt was imprisoned, will be remade by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, turns out to be completely false. Sources say that Bhansali who has just started shooting his ambitious historical Bajirao Mastani has no time or attention for any other project. Two of Ghai's blockbusters Hero and Ram Lakhan have been purchased to be remade by Salman Khan and Karan Johar, respectively. While welcoming the move by eminent filmmakers to revamp his successful films, Ghai says, "I respect Sanjay Leela Bhansali as a unique filmmaker who has also proved himself as an independent producer with Rowdy Rathore and Mary Kom. But I have not made up my mind about selling the remake rights of Khalnayak. Let's wait and see. Having said that, I must admit I »

While Salman Khan reacted with characteristic sarcasm to Govinda's refusal, Govinda for the first time spoke about the matter saying, "I didn't like the subject of that film. It seemed an art film. I don't do art films. Audiences have certain expectations from me as an actor. They expect to be transported into a make believe world in my cinema. Films rooted to real life are not for me. I believe in the Rajinikanth school of entertainment which has no bearing on real life. I like doing films where you can hit your enemy from a foot's distance and still get him flying in the air."
Everyone knows the fact that Salman Khan and large heartedness always go hand in hand. Time and again, Salman and his Ngo 'Being Human' have played the Good Samaritan to many in need. This was a good weekend for Fox, at home and abroad. The studio had the No. 1 movie in North America and overseas with Gone Girl earning an estimated combined $62.6M. On the international side, Fox International Productions has a pair of home grown No. 1 hits on its hands in two very competitive local markets: India and Korea. Bollywood title Bang Bang earned $19.6M at home, and with additional markets, took its debut cume to $25.4M worldwide. In Korea, Fip’s Slow Video is estimated at $5.2M.
Local language in overseas markets continues to be a lucrative and important component of studio business. On a weekly basis, there are more and more titles that pop into my international box office round-up in which the studios are involved. Both of this weekend’s Fip No. 1s were financed, produced and distributed by Fox (Fox Star Studios in India). I understand that the last (and first-ever) time Fip, »
