Freddie Mercury Biopic Back on with Sacha Baron Cohen

28 March 2015 11:40 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

More than two years ago, it was reported that Sacha Baron Cohen exited the Untitled Freddie Mercury Biopic over a 'creative differences' dispute with the band. It was nearly a year later when reports began to swirl around Ben Whishaw taking on the lead role as the Queen frontman, with Dexter Fletcher set to direct. There hasn't been much movement on the project since then, but it is now being reported that Queen manager Jim Beach and the band have come to an agreement with Sacha Baron Cohen.

According to The Daily Mail, Sacha Baron Cohen won't just appear as Freddie Mercury in the biopic drama. But he is also writing, producing and directing the film as well. Jim Beach States:

Movie Review: Crying Wolf

“Don’t go into the graveyard”

An ominous warning from the opening scene of Crying Wolf

Crying Wolf is the latest Horror-Comedy from UK director Tony Jopia (Deadtime, 2012). The story is told from the perspective of a character known only as “Private Detective” (played by Gary Martin who is best known in film for his work getting murdered by a tractor in 1986’s Slaughter High). Something I immediately chalked up to an intentional touch of comedic irony. Because, why not. After Martin nearly comes to blows with a shopkeeper over his desire to purchase a book titled Crying Wolf, »

CBB Alicia to Cami Li, Chloe: 'Katie Hopkins is manipulating you'

16 January 2015 12:10 PM, PST | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Celebrity Big Brother's Alicia Douvall has taken part in a fiery argument involving Cami Li, Chloe Goodman and Nadia Sawalha.

In scenes airing tonight (Friday, January 16), Nadia took Alicia's side in the encounter.

"[I'm] backing up Alicia because you said she is worthless to know," the Loose Women panellist told Cami and Chloe as the conversation heated up.

Alicia - who was previously described as having only one brain cell by Katie Hopkins - then told the pair: "I'm not thick, I realise everything, you are taking me for a fool."

Alicia went on to suggest to Cami and Chloe that they are being manipulated by Katie, prompting a furious response.

"I feel sorry for you because you are thick and f**king dumb," the tattoo model shouted, adding: "I can go home to a family that loves me when obviously you don't [have that]."

A shocked Alicia then stormed out of the bedroom. »
