How I Met Your Mother: Could Casey Wilson be the Mother if She’s Dating Keegan-Michael Key?

I think How I Met Your Mother fans are all going through a similar thing right now. When the newest episode teased Ted would meet the titular “Mother” in a mere 45 days – in story time – my mind exploded. Are we really going to be meeting her? Is this another fake out? Those 45 days would roughly put the meeting – I’m very carefully avoiding the word “revealing” – around the time of the Season 8 finale. So from now until then, any casting news involving a woman for that finale will immediately be under suspicion of playing the ever-elusive Mother. And thus we shall now scrutinize the casting of Happy Ending’s Casey Wilson.
