It's not easy to find love in the city. Christy Carlson Romano, formerly known as Kim Possible and Ren on "Even Stevens," seems poised to learn that the hard way in this exclusive clip from "Loosies."

In the film, Peter Facinelli, who also wrote the script, stars as Bobby, a pick pocket who ends up in over his head. At a restaurant with Romano's character, Carmen, Bobby charms the young woman he supposedly helped with a lost wallet. When the bill comes and the credit card comes back denied, it looks like Bobby's luck may be running out.

Michael Madsen plays the cop on his trail and the one who heads to the restaurant after Bobby's card runs as stolen.

Mirrors 2 (2010) Review

1 October 2011 7:56 PM, PDT | MoreHorror | See recent MoreHorror news »

by Jesse Miller, MoreHorror.com

Let’s face it; despite featuring Keifer Sutherand, Director Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes remake) and some brutal, creative death sequences, the 2008 remake was an overblown mess of a horror film. Even Sutherland hilariously pulling a gun on a nun couldn’t raise it above mediocrity.

So a sequel (Mirrors 2), minus the talents of Sutherland, Aja, and with a story completely unrelated to the first film, was looking to be quite the grim affair. Naturally, I just had to watch it.

It’s been one year since Max Matheson (Nick Stahl) was involved in a car accident that saw the death of his fiancée Kayla, and he is still coming to terms with his overwhelming grief. He soon receives a phone call from his father Jack (William Katt) who offers him a job as a security guard at the Mayflower Department store (the »

A Good Reason to Be "Bitter" This New Year and More New DVDs

5 January 2011 1:45 AM, PST | ifc.com | See recent IFC news »

A look at what's new on DVD today:

"Bitter Feast"

Directed by Joe Maggio

Released by Mpi Home Video

When a food critic ("Humpday"'s Justin Leonard) takes a butcher knife to the restaurant of a celebrity chef (James LeGros), the chef plots the ultimate revenge in this gory satirical thriller from director Joe Maggio. (My review from the Los Angeles Film Festival is here.)

"Case 39"

Directed by Christian Alvart

Released by Paramount

2010 is probably a year best forgotten by Renee Zellweger, who not only appeared in the execrable "My Own Love Song," which went straight to Netflix, but also this thriller that was filmed in 2006, but didn't see a release until last fall. Zellweger stars as a social worker whose latest case involving a child (Jodelle Ferland) that she believes is a victim of abuse leads to something far more terrifying. Bradley Cooper and Ian McShane co-star.

DVD and Blu-Ray Releases: January 4th - Exorcise Your Machete With A Case

3 January 2011 6:37 PM, PST | DreadCentral.com | See recent Dread Central news »

Whoa, what a way to start the new year! After several weeks of desolate conditions in terms of horror title releases, the floodgate just burst open.

This is the week you may want to think about using up those giftcards and cash you got from returning your holiday presents. Major releases are vying for your greenbacks alongside re-releases in Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D (in case Santa brought you a 3D TV recently), and other more independent titles. In addition to movies, there's also a Buffy motion comic and the next volume of a vampire's diary in paperback.

The Last Exorcism (Review)

Directed by Daniel Stamm

Starring Patrick Fabian (Interview), Ashley Bell, Louis Herthum, Tony Bentley

When he arrives on the rural Louisiana farm of Louis Sweetzer, the Reverend Cotton Marcus expects to perform just another routine “exorcism” on a disturbed religious fanatic. An earnest fundamentalist, Sweetzer has contacted the charismatic preacher as a last resort, »
