While Modern Family continues to debate an offer from Australia, TV Guide reports that the comedy is very likely to make the next family vacation a trip to Las Vegas. Meanwhile, we’ll have to wait until May to see Mitch and Cam‘s wedding, which is slated to be a series event along the lines of Gloria giving birth.
The CW announced their midseason schedule, which puts Beauty and the Beast on hiatus, moves The Tomorrow People to Monday nights and pairs Hart of Dixie with Whose Line Is It Anyway? on Friday nights. That doesn’t sound like a vote of confidence for either Beast or The Tomorrow People. At least the midseason shows replacing them — the post-apocalyptic The 100 and the District 9-meets-Romeo & Juliet Star Crossed — are starting out with some pretty bad buzz.

"The other day I'm at the hair salon getting these extensions," DeGeneres joked. "And there's tabloids all over the hair salon - that's where they are, I guess. All of a sudden I notice one sitting on the counter in front of me [and] it caught my eye because Portia and »

Ellen DeGeneres addresses the rumors about her marriage to Portia de Rossi on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Although tabloids have reported the relationship is on the rocks, DeGeneres herself was surprised to hear it. She talks about the issue on her monologue for the Wednesday (Dec. 11) show.
"It caught my eye because Portia and I were in the top right hand corner. And I thought, 'Oh that's so sweet, they're honoring us.' But then I read the headline underneath. And it said: 'Ellen and Portia Marriage Crumbles.' And I was like, 'Oh, what happened? They seemed so happy.' And then I was like, 'Wait, I'm Ellen.'"
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), DeGeneres found that the article in question had been ripped out of the magazine. "I'll never know what's tearing my marriage apart," she mock-complains.

During the course of their relationship, there have been a lot of rumors claiming Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres want to have children. They've routinely come forward and shot them down, but that doesn't stop them from popping back up year after year.
The latest batch comes from Showbiz Spy, who claims that DeGeneres and de Rossi could adopt as early as 2014.
"Ellen and Portia have been talking about starting a family. They're thinking about adoption -- they'd love to give a home to a child in need," an insider says. "Ellen never wanted to have to kids, but she's warming to the idea as Portia is so desperate to be a mom. "Expect an announcement next year!"
Even Showbiz Spy says to take that news with a grain of salt. Back in April, de Rossi told Out magazine that neither she nor her wife want kids.
