Six weeks after Blue Bloods blindsided viewers with the reveal that Linda Reagan died, off-season and off-screen, in a medevac helicopter crash, theories are still swirling as to how Danny’s wife could be “revived” — on, mind you, a broadcast TV show that is about as rooted in realism as you can get.

Outlander Recap: Giving Up the Ghost
Need to catch up? Check out the previous Outlander recap here.

Ladies and gentlemen, Dr. Claire Randall has left the country.

In this week’s episode, Outlander‘s protagonist sadly decides that she can’t spend any more time searching historical records for one James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser, then packs up her regret, her massive cloud of ’60s hair and her daughter and hightails it back to America. (I’ll go into more detail later, but seriously, that more than sums up up Claire’s portion of the hour.)

Meanwhile, Jamie’s half of the episode spans eight years and includes accidental pregnancy,

Blue Bloods: Season Eight Ratings

  • TVSeriesFinale
Although its audience skews older and doesn't rack up the most impressive demo ratings for CBS, the Blue Bloods TV show remains a top performer in terms of total viewership. Still, every story has its end, and as the years pass, a show's budget naturally increases to the point where a network can't get enough bang for its buck. Is that time at hand? Will Blue Bloods be cancelled or renewed for season nine on the Tiffany Network? Stay tuned. A CBS family drama, Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, Sami Gayle, and Vanessa Ray. Performer of the Week: Donnie Wahlberg

Performer of the Week: Donnie Wahlberg
The Performer | Donnie Wahlberg

The Show | Blue Bloods

The Episode | “Cutting Losses” (Sept. 29, 2017)

The Performance | Although the family of Blue Bloods viewers that join the Reagans for dinner every Friday may have been blindsided by the Season 8 premiere, Danny has been living with its tragic reveal for months — something Wahlberg made painfully clear with his measured and at times explosive performance.

Wahlberg started small, as the audience began gathering clues to a mystery they never thought they’d have to solve — first, as Danny held firm in recusing himself from investigating the attempt on Erin’s ex-husband Jack’s life,

Blue Bloods Bombshell: Amy Carlson Opens Up About That Premiere Twist

Blue Bloods Bombshell: Amy Carlson Opens Up About That Premiere Twist
Promos for the Season 8 premiere of CBS’ Blue Bloods had you thinking that Frank being fired as police commissioner was The Big Twist.

But that was far from the truth.

Yes, Interim Mayor Dutton (played by The SopranosLorraine Bracco) did attempt to end Frank’s tenure after he refused to release the disciplinary record of an officer involved in a bad shooting. But thanks to in part a helluva pep talk from Baker, the PC decided to fight for his job (though in the end he didn’t really have to. Those polling numbers!).

What instead blindsided viewers was

How to Get Away With Murder Premiere: Karla Souza Talks Laurel's Major Baby Decision, Breaks Down That Cliffhanger
The following contains spoilers for the Season 4 premiere of How to Get Away With Murder.

Sorry, Carmen Sandiego. After that How to Get Away With Murder premiere, we’re more concerned with someone else’s whereabouts.

The ABC drama returned for its fourth season on Thursday, and of the many questions we were left with after the episode, one of them is especially worrying: Where is Laurel’s baby?

Laurel, who’s already having a sufficiently miserable year, kicks off the episode by announcing to her father — aka the man responsible for Wes’ death — that she was pregnant, but had an abortion weeks ago.

Tobin Bell interview: Jigsaw, the Saw movies and more

Rob Leane Oct 25, 2017

Ahead of Jigsaw’s release, we chatted to John Kramer actor Tobin Bell about his journey with the franchise...

Warning: this interview contains spoilers for several Saw films, and one for Four Corners, but it’s spoiler-free with regards to Jigsaw.

The Saw franchise began, back in 2004, with Tobin Bell’s John Kramer – aka The Jigsaw Killer - playing dead on the floor of a grimy bathroom. Leigh Whannell and James Wan’s micro-budget horror/thriller spawned six blood-spattered sequels, birthing a franchise that became synonymous with Halloween cinema trips.

But then, in 2010, came Saw 3D. The seventh film in the torture-stuffed series presented itself as The Final Chapter, going full circle - revisiting the bathroom from Saw - and tying up all the loose ends of John’s legacy. John died in Saw III and was autopsied in Saw IV, and then Saw 3D presented a
