Andy Samberg will send up the doping scandals of cycling in his new series Tour De Pharmacy...

Echoing the career of Will Ferrell, Andy Samberg is currently in his sports comedy phase.

With writer Murray Miller and director Jake Szymanski, Samberg found a fair bit of success last year with the HBO tennis mockumentary 7 Days In Hell. Now, the network has got the team back together to try and repeat the trick.

Samberg, Miller and Szymanski have been given the green light for Tour De Pharmacy, a comedy series based around blood doping in the world of competitive cycling.

TV Line broke the news, as well as confirming some casting information. Daveed Diggs - who shot to stardom recently in the mega-popular Broadway musical Hamilton - has nabbed a starring role alongside Mr Samberg.
