Saved by the Bell has not delivered fresh new episodes since the series left the air in 1993. Sure, we had a season of The College Years and the spin-off series The New Class remained on the air until 2000, but nothing can beat the original. We still get to see much of the cast on TV today (Mario Lopez on Extra, Tiffani Thiessen on White Collar, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar on Franklin & Bash). A lot has changed in culture on television since the show ended. We at TV Overmind wondered what it would be like if some of our favorite episodes of Saved by the Bell aired today. Well, no one has to think any longer. We took four classic episodes of the series and modernized them for today’s youth. Take a look at what we came up with: Dancing to the Max, original airdate August 20, 1989 Who could…

Valerie Malone and Brandon Walsh, together again!Former "90210" costars Tiffani Thiessen and Jason Priestley had a mini-reunion on Thursday, as they both brought their kids to Disney on Ice's "Let's Celebrate!" event in Los Angeles. The two posed for a couple cute photos together -- and, while we love seeing the duo reunite, Priestley's precocious daughter Ava totally stole the show. Look at that expression ... just priceless!Fellow "Beverly Hills" alums Tori Spelling and Lindsay Price also attended the event with their family, though didn't take any photos with their former costars. Same goes for Tiffani's former "Saved by the Bell" costar Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who was there with his wife Catriona McGinn.McGinn was rocking (and cradling) a noticeable bump at the event. This will be their second kid together and Gosselaar's fourth.Check out the gallery below to see all the cute, family photos from the event -- including shots of Malin Akerman, »

The fifth season of White Collar was way down in the ratings and it looked like the show might be cancelled. In the end, USA ordered a shortened sixth and final season to wrap up the series. Will the ratings for the last episodes be strong or will they be weak? Stay tuned?
On White Collar, a multi-talented con man (Matt Bomer) and an FBI Agent (Tim DeKay) form an unlikely alliance to solve crimes. The rest of the cast includes Willie Garson, Tiffani Thiessen, Marsha Thomason, and Sharif Atkins.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

So the Northern Lights? Turns out they’re stoked by the happiness of children, creating magic snow that powers Santa and his elves’ toy-making efforts, which of course makes kids happy, creating a giant circle of retail. That, at least, is the reasonably clever but thinly developed conceit behind “Northpole,” a family movie making a pit-stop to kick off Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” before alighting on shelves at Walmart. Sweet and inoffensive, one needn’t be a complete Grinch to wish the festive doings contained a little more spice and less saccharine.
Actually, the best thing about the movie, strictly from an amusement factor, might be cameos by Robert Wagner and Jill St. John as Santa and Mrs. Claus, the former immersed in a flowing white mane and beard that more than anything resembles Charlton Heston’s Moses at the end of “The Ten Commandments.” Only here, it’s, »

Val and Dylan forever!"Beverly Hills, 90210" alums Tiffani Thiessen and Luke Perry reunited on the red carpet at Hallmark Channel's premiere screening of "Northpole" on Tuesday in Los Angeles. The 48-year-old actor came out to support the former "Saved By the Bell" beauty, who is starring in the TV movie. Perry starred as bad boy Dylan McKay on the hit series from 1990 to 2000. Thiessen joined the cast as Valerie Malone in 1994. Thiessen definitely shook things up on "90210," so it's surprising that she wasn't part of Perry's love triangle when he was forced to choose between costars Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, and Shannon Doherty during a round of "Marry, Shag, Kill." "I'd marry Tori because I told her dad I'd look out for her," Perry said on "Watch What Happens Live," referencing late "90210" creator, Aaron Spelling. "I'd kill Shannon, because she'd want me to. And that's the only reason," he added. »

Mario Lopez may be a happily married man these days, but his road to monogamy was certainly long and winding. "I know I made my share of mistakes, and sometimes big ones," the Extra host tells People of his life as a ladies' man before marrying Courtney Mazza in 2012. "I had to learn all my lessons the hard way." Lopez has now chronicled some of those mistakes in a new memoir, Just Between Us, in which he admits sex was once his "drug of choice" and also opens up about his two-week marriage to Ali Landry in 2004. "I started having sex so young. »

USA has announced that the sixth and final season of ‘White Collar’ will premiere on Thursday, November 6 at 9 p.m., followed by the return of “Covert Affairs” at 10. The final season will consist of six episodes.
“From its inception, ‘White Collar’ captured a massive and loyal following, in large part due to the incredible on-screen chemistry between Matt and Tim, who deserve credit for one of the most brilliantly performed ‘bromances’ in all of television,” said Chris McCumber, president of USA Network. “The series also benefited from smart writing and an extraordinarily talented supporting cast, who helped it become a fan favorite crime drama for five straight years. This season will not disappoint, with an exciting and shocking ending that fans will never forget.”

Lifetime's The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story didn't leave audiences wanting more necessarily — but it did drop some interesting bombshells about the early '80s and late '90s TV classic! For one thing, Tiffani Thiessen's now-ex Bff Jennie Garth was at one point in the running for her Kelly Kapowski role. The film, which aired on Labor Day, showed a fake casting photo of Garth in the running against Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley for Zack Morris' (Mark Paul Gosselaar) leading lady. Garth was cut and executives [...] »
All this week on Vulture, we’re discussing the hugely influential 1994–95 network television season, with the likes of newbies Friends, ER, and My So-Called Life hobnobbing on the fall schedule with returning future classics such as Seinfeld, The Simpsons, and The X-Files. We just counted down the season’s 100 best episodes. Up now: Vulture columnist Dave Holmes looks back at the hugely popular and entirely bonkers fifth season of the Fox melodrama Beverly Hills, 90210, which saw the departure of Shannen Doherty’s Brenda Walsh and the arrival of Saved by the Bell’s Tiffani Amber Thiessen as manipulative family friend Valerie Malone. He will discuss the show while simultaneously giving a track-by-track assessment of Beverly Hills, 90210: The College Years, a tie-in soundtrack released September 20, 1994.Season five of Beverly Hills, 90210 was a difficult one for the series, but sometimes music can be the spoonful of sugar that helps the medicine go down. »

Lisa Turtle, is that you? Twenty-four hours before The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story premiered on Lifetime Monday, former Saved by the Bell star Lark Voohries made a rare public appearance at a farmer's market in L.A. With bright blue eye shadow and a bold rep lip, the actress' makeup distracted from her natural beauty. She dressed casually for the occasion, wearing a bohemian sweater, tight white pants and white sandals. Voohries celebrated the hit TV show via Twitter last week, writing, "I can't believe it's been 25 years! Wow, thank you to all of the #Sbtb Fans." Like her co-stars Mark-Paul Gosslear and Tiffani Thiessen, Voohries didn't tune in for Lifetime's biopic, which »

Lifetime aired its highly-anticipated movie The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story last night, and one thing is pretty clear by the credits: It was a hard knock four years for Screech (Dustin Diamond). Narrated by Bayside High School’s resident geek — and loosely based off Diamond’s 2009 tell-all Behind the Bell — Unauthorized puts Screech in one corner and his pretty-preppy co-stars (Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Lark Voorhies, Elizabeth Berkley and Tiffani Thiessen) in the other. For two hours, we watch Diamond yearning to be hotter, edgier, drunker (yup) — and the whole thing is really, really depressing.
Now, it’s not just Screech screeching. Unauthorized delivers the Saved by the Bell behind-the-scenes dish we were hungry for. The highlights: Gosselaar (Zack Morris) had to touch up his own roots before taping the first episode; Berkley (who played Jessie Spano) wanted to research and meet real drug addicts »
