Put on your baggiest Hypercolor® tee, your finest high-tops and your stoniest stone-washed jeans -- it's time to return to "Saved By the Bell." Lifetime knows how much you want to watch the cable network's highly-anticipated "The Unauthorized Story Of Saved By The Bell," so they've released the first five minutes of the movie online.  The clip begins at a 1990 public appearance in Cincinnati where thousands of fans clamor to catch a glimpse of the teen tube stars in a very "Hard Day's Night"-kind of way. It then transforms into what can only be described as "Screech's Goodfellas," with Sam Kindseth playing scrawny star Dustin Diamond. It flashes back to Diamond's 1988 audition and includes lots of narration, a rousing pop soundtrack (The Go-Gos, Bell Biv Devoe), restless camerawork, and Screech breaking the fourth wall in order to address the audience.  Watch it here:     (function(d, s, id) { var js, »

Following the first clip and trailer released earlier this month, Lifetime has debuted the first five minutes of their new TV movie The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, before its premiere on Monday, September 1 at 9 Pm Et.

The movie starts off in the year 1990, as the Saved by the Bell cast gets ready for their first public appearance, unaware if their show is actually a hit or not in these pre-Internet times. There is even a nod to Zack Morris' infamous "time out" bit, before this extended clip goes back to 1988, which reveals that the show originally centered on the teachers of Bayside High. Take a look at the first scenes from The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story before the TV movie debuts on Labor Day.

Watch: Get A Blast From The '90s With Trailer For Lifetime’s 'The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story'

19 August 2014 8:48 AM, PDT | The Playlist | See recent The Playlist news »

Hold on to your hats! It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Lifetime has posted its first trailer for “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story,” and it promises all of the ego, attitude and adolescent drama you’d want in a behind the scenes look at the making of the splashy '90s Saturday morning sitcom. Inspired by but not based on the 2009 book “Behind The Bell,” which was written by actor Dustin (Screech) Diamond, it’s unclear how far this will delve into scandal, but the memoir was apparently filled with sex and drugs, inciting the ire of some of his costars. Diamond serves as a co-producer on the film, which will star Sam Kindseth in the Diamond role, along with Dylan Everett (Mark-Paul Gosselaar / Zack), Alyssa Lynch (Tiffani Thiessen / Kelly), Julian Works (Mario Lopez / Slater), Tiera Skovbye (Elizabeth Berkley / Jessie) and Taylor Russell McKenzie »

Lifetime has released the first trailer for The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story, which gives us a look at the behind-the-scenes drama and madness that went on while the popular 1990s series was in production.

The movie was reportedly inspired by Dustin Diamond’s 2009 book Behind the Bell, which is a tell-all that claimed that when the cast wasn't shooting the show, they were getting crazy with drugs, sex, and wild parties.

It stars Dylan Everett (Mark-Paul Gosselaar / Zack Morris), Alyssa Lynch (Tiffani Thiessen / Kelly Kapowski), Julian Works (Mario Lopez / A.C. Slater), Tiera Skovbye (Elizabeth Berkley / Jessie Spano), Sam Kindseth (Dustin Diamond / Screech Powers), and Taylor Russell McKenzie (Lark Voorhies / Lisa Turtle).

The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story will air on Lifetime September 1st. This has definitely sparked my curiosity, so of course I have to watch it. This may very well be the first thing that I ever watch on Lifetime. »

Lifetime has released the first trailer for their upcoming look behind the scenes of the hit TV show "Saved by the Bell", The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, set to premiere Monday, September 1, at 9/8c on the channel known for its second-rate features and while I don't expect this to be any different I have an extreme level of curiosity considering I grew up watching this dumb show. Maisie Williams Is Not Impressed by 'Saved by the Bell' (Video)

11 August 2014 9:30 AM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

"Game of Thrones" star Maisie Williams was invited to participate in the latest Teens React video from the Fine Brothers, and she and other teenagers were presented with the mother of all kid-friendly TV shows: "Saved by the Bell."

Unfortunately for Zack, Kelly, Screech, Slater, Jessie, and Lisa, today's teens were less than impressed with the 25-year-old series, which the kids made fun of for its bad permed hair, cheesy graphics and color scheme, terrible plot points, and even worse acting. While the boys were still charmed by the adorable Tiffani Amber Thiessen, and the girls thought Mark-Paul Gosselaar was quite dreamy (beating out Mario Lopez in a cute competition -- sorry, A.C.), they didn't connect with any of the storylines, and were downright harsh with some of their criticisms.

Hard-core Saved by the Bell fans have been waiting 20 years for this. Lifetime has released the first glimpse from The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, but so far, there's nothing scandalous - the trailer depicts a normal group of teenagers dealing with hormones. The clip shows the Elizabeth Berkley character (who played Jessie Spano) trying to de-escalate the competition between Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle) and Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski) for the attention of Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), while Dustin Diamond (Screech Powers) tries to keep up with the physical prowess of Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater). And all the while, »

Lifetime has released the first clip from their TV movie The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story. The movie gives a behind-the-scenes look at the all the drama in the series that we never saw on screen.
