What's this? An actual confession from Taylor Lautner that he's seeing Taylor Swift? The New Moon star, who's been rumored to be seeing the Fearless songbird in recent weeks, tells Extra that it 's a bit odd dating someone with the same first name as his. Says Lautner, "It gets confusing definitely. And it's weird calling somebody your name." No doubt. Especially if you're calling out that name in the throes of ecstasy. Let us know in the comments section: Do you think Lautner and Swift have what it take to go the distance as a couple? »

Lady Gaga may already have plenty of celebrity friends these days, but in the Francis Lawrence-directed video for "Bad Romance" (the first video from her forthcoming release, The Fame Monster), there's a devilish group of supermodels who have their eyes on making Gaga their newest bestie.
"I knew [Lawrence's] ability as a director is so much higher than what I could [do]," Gaga explained to MTV News last week. "There's this one shot in the video where I get kidnapped by supermodels. I'm washing away my sins and they shove vodka down my throat to drug me up before they sell me off to the Russian mafia."
As if being kidnapped by supermodels before being sold off to the Russian mafia isn't bizarre enough, Gaga also decided to step up her fashion »

Short Version: There are already so many great adaptions of the classic Dickens story – this one adds nothing but CGI and gimmicky 3D effects.
Screen Rant reviews A Christmas Carol
A Christmas Carol is one of my all time favorite Christmas stories. Maybe because most of the year I feel like a somewhat cranky Ebenezer Scrooge but once Thanksgiving is over my mood lightens over the spirit of the upcoming holiday. It seems that every few years someone feels the need to do an update on the classic tale, and sometimes it works. Heck there have certainly been a lot of versions over the years (over two dozen on TV and in movies according to IMDb), and I’ve enjoyed many of those myself.
This time director Robert Zemeckis (who seems intent upon never making another live action film as long as he lives) brings us another 3D, IMAX, CGI motion-capture extravaganza. »

On this week's Community, Abed (Danny Pudi) has proved what we've though all season, he's definitely the breakout star of the show. That's definitely an impressive task considering Community also stars Joel McHale and Chevy Chase.
During last night's episode, "Home Economics," the gang learned that Jeff was living out of his Lexus and Abed invited him to live in his dorm room. The two of them together was like watching comedic bliss.
Meanwhile, Annie went a little crazier than usual as she tried to express her feelings for Troy, while Pierce joined Vaughn's band. The end result? Another fantastic episode.
Really our only complaint with the half hour was actually after the credits. Usually our favorite part of each episode is actually after the episode when they feature a clip of Abed and Troy goofing around. Instead we get Pierce and some dude rapping? Not cool.

Cameron Diaz and James Marsden in a sci-fi murkfest.
James Marsden and Cameron Diaz in "The Box"
Photo: Warner Bros.
"The Box" is an overlong mess of a movie that's nevertheless eerie and unsettling. You walk away from it feeling befuddled but definitely weirded-out. The picture is based on a 1970 short story by Richard Matheson that was later turned into a "Twilight Zone" episode — which would be just about the right length for a filmic adaptation. In transforming this crisply-told tale into a nearly two-hour movie, though, director Richard Kelly has crammed it with so much additional narrative that the film feels on the verge of exploding at any moment.
The story is set in Richmond, Virginia, in — for some reason — 1976. Arthur and Norma Lewis (James Marsden and Cameron Diaz) are feeling a financial pinch even though both have good jobs. He works for Nasa; she's employed as a lit teacher in a private school. »

Last time we checked in on the progress of The Green Lantern the shoot had pulled out from down under in Sydney, Australia (thanks to inflating costs of production) and was looking for a new locale in which to conduct its principal shoot, which Was set to begin in January.
Now, thanks to The Geek Files, we have updates from director Martin Campbell (Casino Royale), letting us know where the Green Lantern shoot has moved to and what kind of challenges they’re facing in bringing the intergalactic adventures of the emerald warrior to the big screen.
First up, you should know that previously rumored shooting locations like Mexico and Canada have been revealed as just that – rumor. Green Lantern has in fact come on home to the U.S. of A. and tapped the city of New Orleans as the location for its principal shoot, which is now set to being in April, »

Roger Corman (a recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award at our recent Trinity of Terrors) is a mainstay of the American Film Market and always has been, and that’s where we caught up again with the veteran producer, who’s doing a couple of new killer-fish movies for the Syfy channel. “Dinocroc was a big hit for us,” he tells Fango, “and Syfy wanted another one, so now we have Dinoshark, which we shot in Mexico, and that has turned out so well, the next one we’ll do for them is…
“Octoshark!” No doubt this flick is about a crossbreed between the two sea species, though we’d like to think it concerns a great white trying to raise too many offspring and becoming a media sensation. In any case, Dinoshark was directed by Kevin O’Neill (who also helmed Dinocroc) from a script by Frances Doel and »

Los Angeles (AP) — No Doubt is suing video game maker Activision for putting words in band members' mouths. The band brought suit Wednesday against Activision Publishing Inc. over a feature in the new "Band Hero" game that allows players to control virtual band members and have them sing other artists' songs. The lawsuit claims a feature allows players to have lead singer Gwen Stefani perform suggestive lyrics from the Rolling Stones' hit "Honky Tonk Women." The suit also notes a virtual version of bassist Tony Kanal can be made to sing his band's hit "Just a Girl," but with... »

No Doubt is suing videogame maker Activision over use of the band's likeness in the new "Guitar Hero" spinoff "Band Hero."
In a suit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the veteran ska-rock group claims that "Band Hero" users have the ability to manipulate No Doubt members, both collectively and individually, into singing popular songs by other artists -- something the band said they didn't sign up for.

Courtney Love isn't the only musician publicly feuding with Activision now, as No Doubt filed a lawsuit yesterday in Los Angeles regarding their appearance in "Band Hero." In a complaint very similar to Love's regarding Kurt Cobain's use in "Guitar Hero 5," No Doubt believes that their likenesses were re-purposed in ways they didn't approve.
"The band [members] are bitterly disappointed that their name and likeness was taken and used without their permission," manager Jim Guerinot said today, according to the Los Angeles Times. "They agreed to play three No Doubt songs as a band.... Activision then went and put them in 62 other songs and broke the band up [and] never even asked."
Activision begs to disagree, though, and responded accordingly.
"Activision believes it is within its legal rights with respect to the use and portrayal of the band members in the game and that this lawsuit is without merit," the company »

Listen, if Gwen Stefani wanted to croon like a dude about doing it with hookers, don't you think she would have done it by now? Unfortunately, the makers of the newly released Band Hero didn't take the hint and allowed for the avatar of No Doubt's frontwoman to be manipulated into doing just that. Which means only one thing: lawsuit time! The rock band has filed suit against the video game purveyor Activision, alleging fraudulent inducement and breach of contract, claiming that while Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young all signed off on allowing their likenesses to be used, it came with the stipulation that the company could only employ the use of three of their songs, "Don't... »

A few months ago, there was a bit of a flap over the use of Kurt Cobain's likeness in the video game "Guitar Hero 5." Specifically, fans, former bandmates and Courtney Love were all bothered by the fact that you could manipulate the game to make the Nirvana frontman's avatar sing songs by Bon Jovi and Bush. The just-released "Band Hero" has come under similar fire, this time from Gwen Stefani and No Doubt. The band's virtual selves are included in the game, and just as with Cobain, players can program Stefani's character to sing songs that don't belong to No Doubt. And once again, the problem the band has is with the types of material that can be put into Stefani's mouth.
The song in question? The Rolling Stones' 1969 hit "Honky Tonk Women." The formal complaint filed by the band states, "While No Doubt are avid fans of »

No Doubt have filed a lawsuit against video game studio Activision for misuse of its likeness in rhythm action title Band Hero. According to Rolling Stone, the rock band have claimed that the developer turned them into a "virtual karaoke circus act". They also expressed disapproval at the use of their avatars to perform songs by other artists. No Doubt has filed a lawsuit against Activision, the makers of the music video game Band Hero, over the way the group are portrayed in it.
The "Hey Baby" stars - Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young, and Tom Dumont - are suing the company for turning them into a "virtual karaoke circus act."
According to Rolling Stone magazine, their manager, Jim Guerinot, said they were "mortified" to discover their likenesses in the game can be used to sing other artists' songs. Each member of the band can also be isolated from the rest of the group to sing songs inappropriate for their gender.
When they brought their concerns to Activision, they claim the company refused to correct its actions because it would be too expensive and would jeopardize their revenue.

Gwen Stefani and company take issue with the use of their likenesses in the new game.

On Wednesday, No Doubt filed a lawsuit against Activision, the publishers of "Band Hero," claiming they've been transformed "into a virtual karaoke circus act" in the new game, which allows avatars of Gwen Stefani and company to perform songs popularized by other acts.
In the suit, the band alleges that Activision exceeded the contractually approved use of the group's avatars. No Doubt contend that their contract with the video game publisher allowed for the use of their music and likenesses in "no more than three" of their own songs, but that, in the final version of "Band Hero," those likenesses are used in more than 60 songs, "Many of which include lyrics ... which are not appropriate for No Doubt and would not »
