Jane Fonda, 79, Goes Unretouched on the Cover of Town & Country

12 October 2017 8:22 AM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Earlier this year Helen Mirren, 72, appeared on the cover of Allure and pioneered a new way of embracing her age by urging people to stop using the term “anti-aging.” And now, Jane Fonda, is making an equally powerful statement by appearing on the cover of Town & Country completely unretouched.

The 79-year-old went all-natural for the November issue appearing on the black-and-white cover wearing a collared shirt, oversize earrings and a chainlink necklace.

Fonda has been a L’Oréal spokesperson since her first campaign in 2014 and just walked in the brand’s Paris show (alongside Mirren!). She’s been open and »

‘Finding Your Roots’: Larry David and Bernie Sanders Are Related, and More Shocking Revelations From PBS’ Ancestry Series

4 October 2017 3:14 PM, PDT | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

Although Larry David had impersonated Senator Bernie Sanders brilliantly multiple times on “Saturday Night Live,” the men’s resemblance was written off as nothing but a joke. After all, they’re both older Jewish men from New York. Of course they’re similar.

On Tuesday night’s premiere of PBS’ “Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr.” though, they discovered they have far more in common than just looks. After running a DNA test on the two, host Gates revealed that they share significantly long sequences of identical DNA. In short, they’re related.

“What the hell?!” David said upon learning the news. “That is really funny. That is amazing! Alright. Cousin Bernie.”

In a separate interview, Sanders had a similarly delighted but stunned reaction. “You’re kidding. That is unbelievable. »

The Last Man on Earth: Season Four Ratings

2 October 2017 1:10 PM, PDT | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

Despite continuing low ratings, Fox renewed The Last Man on Earth TV show for a fourth season. Season four can be a dangerous time for low-rated TV series. While 100 episodes still may be the gold standard for syndication, in recent years, packages with 88 episodes or so (i.e. four seasons of around 22 episodes each) have sold well. However, this sitcom has had shorter than average seasons. A total of only 49 episodes were produced during its first three installments. Could that low count help it snag another pickup? Will The Last Man on Earth be cancelled or renewed for season five? Stay tuned. A Fox post-apocalyptic comedy, The Last Man on Earth stars Will Forte, Kristen Schaal, January Jones, Mel Rodriguez, Mary Steenburgen, and Cleopatra Coleman. ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Season 9 Premiere Finally Reveals What Larry Has Been Doing For the Last Six Years

1 October 2017 7:39 PM, PDT | Indiewire | See recent Indiewire news »

Few television series — especially those just unspooling their long-awaited ninth season — would be bold enough to trade on the concept that absolutely nothing has changed over the intervening years. Characters grow, situations change. But Larry David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” is not just any television series.

Six years after the HBO series wrapped its eighth season, Hollywood’s favorite malcontent is back, and he’s the exact same curmudgeon audiences love (and his friends love to hate). The Larry David of “Curb” doesn’t evolve, and never learns, and HBO has even made that the backbone of the show’s marketing campaign: This season’s official trailer literally boasts that “nothing has changed.”

Nonetheless, it was a long hiatus, and although the cameras weren’t rolling, surely Larry got into plenty of misunderstandings and stepped into countless of awkward situations during the intervening years. The last season saw him and »

‘The Last Man on Earth’ Review: Season 4 Starts with a Bang, a Cameo, and More Familiar, Twisted Tricks

1 October 2017 6:59 PM, PDT | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “The Last Man on Earth” Season 4, Episode 1, “M.U.B.A.R.”]

Like watching two sea-doos slowly arcing through the ocean on an unlikely, yet inevitable collision course, “The Last Man on Earth” Season 4 premiere offered a few tantalizing possibilities, but ultimately felt stuck on a predictable path.

There were plenty of callbacks from seasons past: The episode began by answering the Season 3 cliffhanger, in which Pamela (recurring guest star Kristen Wiig) saved Phil “Tandy” Miller (Will Forte) and the group’s lives by shooting Pat (Mark Boone Junior) before he could take out any of the other survivors. Though the visor-splattering burst of blood may have made it look like Pat was dunzo, he recovered long enough to put a bullet in Rear Admiral Roy Billups, Pamela’s former lover played by another one-and-done mega guest star, Jack Black.

Watch Larry David's Classic Gripes in New 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Trailer

11 September 2017 6:17 AM, PDT | Rollingstone.com | See recent Rolling Stone news »

In the six years since Curb Your Enthusiasm's last episode, Larry David's distaste for everyday minutiae has only sharpened. The hilarious new Season Nine trailer unfolds like a greatest hits package. The famous crank angrily slaps an almost-empty shampoo bottle, becomes outraged over a broken shoelace, gets into a verbal altercation with a judge and tells a sobbing woman at a funeral to "shut up."

In what could be the funniest scene, David bickers with an office employee (Portlandia's Carrie Brownstein) for taking two days off work for constipation. »

Larry David Is Back and as Unhappy as Ever in ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Trailer (Watch)

10 September 2017 6:48 PM, PDT | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

Judging by the new trailer for “Curb Your Enthusiasm” just released by HBO, everyone’s favorite misanthrope hasn’t changed one bit.

Larry David shushes a crying woman at a funeral. He knocks over a woman spraying perfume in a department store. He chases away two people who are kissing in front of him. “You’re allowed to be happy, but not in front of me,” he tells them.

“A grave injustice has been done here. We are no better than the beasts in the field!” he intones to a judge before committing the ultimate sin in court: Saying “yoo-hoo” to the judge, who’s none too pleased.

“You can’t yoo-hoo a judge?” David retorts.

It falls to “Curb” star Richard Lewis to deliver the ultimate judgment: “You’re devoid of anything that’s remotely caring or empathetic.” To which David naturally responds, “That’s a great compliment.”
