Nat Geo explores the heartache, grief and loss that comes with war in the upcoming eight-hour event series, The Long Road Home

Based on ABC News journalist Martha Raddatz’s best-selling book, the drama stars Michael Kelly, Kate Bosworth, Jason Ritter, Jeremy Sisto and Noel Fisher.

In Et’s exclusive first look at the new trailer, Sisto, Fisher, Ritter, Bosworth and Kelly chillingly recite lines from the famous 1916 Alan Seeger poem, “I Have a Rendezvous With Death.” Spine-tingling vignettes of heartbreaking wartime moments offer insight into the emotional, mental and physical toll one life-changing event can have on a person and their loved ones.

Bitten alum Laura Vandervoort will sink her teeth into the role of a high-end attorney, on Season 2 of At&T Audience Network’s Ice.

TVLine has learned that among the edgy drama’s Season 2 cast changes, Vandervoort will recur as Tessa Pryor, a legal eagle who arrives at court to represent veteran diamond dealer Freddy Green (played by Jeremy Sisto). Tessa is described as confident, self-assured, and sharp as a tack, “a real firebrand.”

August Premiere Date for At&T Audience Network’s Series Adaptation of Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes

Brady Hartsfield lives to kill, and he promises to strike again in Mr. Mercedes, an upcoming series based on Stephen King's book of the same name (the first entry in a trilogy). The series will be released on the At&T Audience Network from Sonar Entertainment this summer, with an official premiere date and image revealed.

In today’s TV news roundup, Mario Lopez is set to host a new CBS game show based on the popular game “Candy Crush,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” guest stars for Season 3 have been announced and Adrien Brody joins the cast of “Peaky Blinders.”

Following the recent news that Mary-Louise Parker has joined the cast of Sonar Entertainment’s adaptation of Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes, the complete core cast for the At&T Audience Network series has now been announced with production on the show underway in South Carolina.

[Welcome back, readers! With the 2017 Sundance Film Festival beginning this week, we thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of the great midnight movies that have come out of the fest over the years. Click here for more Midnight Memories from Daily Dead!]

It’s unfortunate that when many fans hear the names “Lucky McKee” and “Sundance” mentioned in the same sentence, the first thing that comes to mind is an incident in which an audience member had a total public meltdown after the festival screened McKee’s fourth feature (fifth if you count Red, which he co-directed), The Woman, in 2011. After the movie—an adaptation of a novel of the same name he co-wrote with Jack Ketchum—premiere as part of Sundance’s Midnights program, an irate man stood up and began shouting that the movie was “disgusting” and that it degraded both men and women. The freak-out was caught on video and went viral within the film community, garnering The Woman a reputation as a piece of art so potentially transgressive and shocking that it would warrant such a response even before most people saw the movie.
