Now that May sweeps has swept on by and the “in-season” TV season has passed … well, don’t put down that remote just yet. Not by a stretch. Because it is time to (So You Think You Can) Dance, solve more White Collar crimes, taunt those Pretty Little Liars, return to Dallas, Suits up, play with some Political Animals, say farewell to Eureka and more.
Here are more than 100 dates, from series premieres (shown in blue, with a brief summary) to returning faves, with a few finales and specials thrown in.

In light of the latest photo of Jonah, we thought we’d configure a list of some other celebrities famous for yo-yoing in size. Check out the continually changing stars below!
Jessica Simpson: This one is an obvious choice. Simpson is no longer the petite cowgirl (and car washer) audiences drooled over in The Dukes of Hazard. And she’s clearly not the tiny newlywed who once infamously asked ex-husband Nick Lachey whether her tuna was chicken or fish. Jessica has been changing her size ever since her divorce, and reportedly jumped from a size 4 to 12 when she began dating John Mayer a few years ago. Simpson went back to her normal size with the South Beach Diet after that breakup, but her recent pregnancy has changed everything. That’s definitely not just baby weight. Getting back to that size 2 is definitely going to be a challenge at this stage… »

There are different types of “Bad Movies”. It’s become sport to poke fun at bloated star vehicles such as Ishtar, Glitter, or Gigli but those films are usually miserable experiences to actually sit through. There are films that are intentionally bad such as those from Troma studios (Toxic Avenger, Poultrygeist) but Troma knows its audience and anyone seeing a Troma film knows what they are getting into. Writer/director Tommy Wiseau’s The Room belongs with the group of movies that are so bad that they can transform their own awfulness into a “comedy of errors”.. Unlike more mundane bad films, these films develop an ardent following of fans who love them because of their poor quality, because normally, the errors (technical or artistic) or wildly contrived plots are unlikely to be seen elsewhere and they become great entertainment in spite of themselves. If you’ve hunted around for movie bargains, you’ve probably seen some of Mill Creek Entertainment’s 50-Movie Packs on DVD. Apart from other great releases by Mill Creek, these packs are phenomenal boons to cinephiles looking to collect older titles.
There are three new packs available, and I want to not only let you in on a discount code, but I have one of the packs available for you to win.
I know a lot of people may be quick to overlook these packs, and not every movie included stands out as a major value, but there are some great titles in each of them, and fans of the genres will be pleasantly surprised by what they get out of the deal. I have to admit that there is something about seeing a 50-movie pack, especially when it doesn’t cost a couple of hundred dollars, or more, »

On Monday’s rumba with Karina: Gladys sent me a message as soon as we’d done the number tonight with Jackie Evancho. Featuring Nathan Fillion's mystery-writer-turned-detective, Castle plays like a hip Murder, She Wrote– with added sexual tension
When the premise of Castle was first announced – Nathan Fillion playing a mystery writer who tags along with the NYPD solving crimes – I thought I might swoon. In essence, it was a brand new Murder, She Wrote, with Firefly's Mal Reynolds as Jessica Fletcher. This, I need hardly point out, is an idea of almost unrivalled greatness.
But when the show began, it was immediately clear that we were dealing with an altogether hipper, more knowing series. It was also much grislier: Castle murders have included a man found with a bag of severed heads (Headhunters: 4, 21), a woman killed in a washer-dryer (Nanny McDead: 1, 2), and a frozen corpse hanging at a building site (A Chill Goes Through Her Veins: 1,5).
The pre-credits sequence of the opening episode of Castle (Flowers For Your Grave) is a masterclass in speedy, »

Kennel from Hell
Watch It Here
So a retired prison guard steals your dog, invites you over and tricks you into eating him. How do you get revenge? Challenge them to a, “Kennel from Hell” that’s how! On paper it sounded intimidating. A cage surrounding the ring, a hell in the cell surrounding that and in between those rabid dogs. The only way to win was to escape both cages and outrun those angry dogs. Sounds exciting. Unfortunately it wasn’t.
The first (and last) “Kennel from Hell,“ took place at WWF Unforgiven 1999, between Al Snow and the Big Bossman. Unforgiven was already an odd event before the Kennel even came out. The first match of the evening »

Here's a fantastically silly 1978 trailer for The Avengers! Footage is used from several different shows of that 1970's era. I love how the Earth's Mightiest Heroes are going up against the band Kiss, and that Paul Lynde guy from Hollywood Squares plays Loki. It's crazy to see how far we've come with these characters. Who would have thought back then, that we would see what we have today? Enjoy the video!

On Motown Night: This was a reuinion of sorts for Gladys. Berry Gordy came, which was unreal. I got to meet him tonight, and Duke, the one who’s left in the Four Tops. The Temptations then, some of the Supremes, and of course Martha Reeves and Smokey Robinson. Such a good tribute to Motown. It was unreal to dance to the real artists singing the songs. Pop music – it’s all sweet and innocent right? Well, listen to the lyrics and you’ll open up a big ol’ can of worms – raunchy worms with come-to-bed eyes. Pop music is littered with the whole innuendo spectrum that makes you look back at your old school discos in a completely different light. Yeah, I bet you’ve sang along to these (I know I have) and probably attempted to drunkenly gyrate to them too (guilty again) and that’s perfectly fine. Embrace the lyrical sin and the melodic muck, I say! With Nelly Furtado and Flo-Rida soon to release their new singles Big Hoops (Bigger the Better) and Whistle (including the completely innocent line ‘Can you blow my whistle baby?‘) respectively, here’s a roundup of the five most common Pop-uendo themes ranging from the childish to the just plain filthy.
Yes, pop music sometimes likes to think »
