Helen Mirren's beauty and allure were no match for 50 Cent.

The 71-year-old actress happily posed with the 41-year-old artist on the red carpet at the 57th Monte Carlo TV Festival on Tuesday in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, and clearly left an impression on him. Not long after hanging out with Mirren, 50 Cent posted a photo to Instagram of a newspaper that called out their appearance together, declaring: "70 is the new 50."

Gene Simmons Attempting to Trademark Iconic “Devil Horns” Hand Gesture

16 June 2017 1:18 PM, PDT | bloody-disgusting.com | See recent Bloody-Disgusting.com news »

While I wouldn’t even see Gene Simmons in concert for free (I can prove this, actually), I would spend good money to watch him at a buffet. There’s no way he doesn’t stuff his mouth until he pukes and then resume eating again. Right? It’s no secret that he’s a promotional machine, willing to do […] »

Gene Simmons Trolled by Ut Austin President Over ‘Horns’ Trademark Bid

Ouch, Gene Simmons; you’ve been schooled — by someone who knows a thing or two about schooling. Amid news that Kiss bassist Simmons is attempting to trademark the “horns” hand gesture as his own, University of Texas at Austin president Greg Fenves decided to poke fun at the rocker — presumably with index and pinky finger extended — over the effort. “Sorry, @genesimmons, Longhorns have been doing since the ’50s — more than 20 years before Kiss got going,” Fenves wrote. Gene Simmons Tries to Trademark Devil's Horns Hand Gesture

14 June 2017 2:59 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Kiss' Gene Simmons is attempting to copyright the devil's horns rock salute. Yes, really. The guy who has made a Kiss coffin for you to be buried in is now claiming to have invented the hard rockin' hand-gesture that is also really close to American Sign Language's I love you and frighteningly similar to the way Spider-Man shoots his webs. Simmons has done a lot of things in his long, long career, some of things are good and some are bad. We'll let you decide where to put this one.

The Hollywood Reporter has brought Simmons' latest attempt to remain relevant in any way he can to our attention. Simmons apparently filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office late last week and is awaiting a response. Simmons is claiming that "his hand gesture" was first used at a Kiss concert on November 14th, 1974 which would »

Needless to say, Efron delivered.

Speak up against injustice or be thankful that you're still alive? It's a question that, as a first-generation American, Hasan Minhaj has been dealing with since childhood. Whether it was race-fueled vandalism at his childhood home or a rejected prom date, the 31-year-old comedian has always struggled with paying what he calls the "American Dream tax" — exchanging personal anger at everyday racism for the right to live safely in America. "It's something that I still deal with, and we all deal with in some capacity," he says. "But I've tried »

Kiss, WWE Cancel Manchester Arena Events

Legendary rock band Kiss and sports entertainment organisation World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) have both canceled planned events at Manchester Arena following the suicide bombing which took place outside the venue Monday night.

A statement for Kiss said the band would be unable to play a planned concert of its “Kissworld” tour on May 30 due to the temporary closure of Manchester Arena, following the tragedy. The band said they were “heartbroken by the atrocity committed against the innocent victims.”

The statement suggested the band was disappointed not to be able to play the show for its local fans but said that “in light of recent events a canceled rock show seems of such little consequence.” The landing page of the official Kiss website currently reads: “Manchester: We stand with you in this time of unspeakable tragedy” in front of the Union Jack flag of the U.K.

WWE has also canceled its live Nxt event, which »

'Baywatch' Review: Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron's Raunchy Reboot Is Made for Bros

24 May 2017 11:00 AM, PDT | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Watching Baywatch, the R-rated reboot of the long-running '90s primetime soap, I finally understood how doctors and lawyers must feel when they watch TV, how difficult it is to focus on plot when your chosen profession is being depicted wildly irresponsibly. Having guarded lives throughout my teenage years, I must ask: are any of these people even CPR certified?! (Dead bodies do occasionally just wash ashore, though. That is true.)

Anyway, Baywatch revolves around "Lieutenant" Mitch Buchannon (Dwayne Johnson, taking on David Hasselhoff's small screen namesake), a lifeguard so proficient at his job that he knows when an accident is going to happen before it even happens, and his newest trainee: Matt Brody (Zac Efron playing, essentially, Ryan Lochte, had he attempted to rehabilitate his post-Olympics image by lifeguarding instead of Dancing With the Stars).

Ghost Rider is back to heat things up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but dare we say, we’re going to miss that far-out Framework world?

Constructed by Radcliffe’s android assistant Aida as a hellacious bit of heaven (at least as far as Coulson & Co. were concerned), the third “pod” of Season 4 creatively re-energized the ABC drama and stabilized its ratings — perhaps enough, one could argue, to score it a Season 5 renewal last week.
