Duffy is developing the feature “Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em” and the comedy “Black Ghost,” which he is writing with Cedric The Entertainer. He’s partnered with Don Carmody of Dctv to create “The Boondock Saints: Origins.”

Death Stranding Won’t Be Present At E3 2017, Confirms Kojima

7 June 2017 8:41 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima’s first game since officially parting ways with Konami last year, won’t be present at this year’s E3 convention. Confirming the news himself via Twitter, Kojima said, “Apologies to our fans, Death Stranding will not be @ E3 as we are fully focused on development,” no doubt disappointing the masses who had been hoping for a potential gameplay reveal during Sony’s keynote.

The Tweet, which you can see for yourselves below, does come adorned with a new teaser image, which sports a star-shaped spider web and an accompanying slogan that simply says ‘Bridges.’

Apologies to our fans, Death Stranding will not be @ E3 as we are fully focused on development. Pls see me with @geoffkeighley on 6/14! pic.twitter.com/w9JfmEOqF4

Cinelinx E3 Predictions And Expectations 2017

1 June 2017 1:27 PM, PDT | Cinelinx | See recent Cinelinx news »

E3 is an exciting time of year for all types of gamers as the show expands into many different categories. Mobile gamers can be excited for new social interactions, and maybe even some new hardware, and of course hardcore gamers can see what the next few years have for them. Here at Cinelinx we are excited for our own reasons and well, we can’t wait to tell you why. Want to know what’s got us excited? Find out after the jump!

Dustin:

Last year, overall, E3 was kind of a dull moment for many reasons. Sure we got a glimpse into Microsoft’s future with Project Scorpio, after the promised they wouldn’t be doing that, but they kind of forgot to bring the unit with them. Sony had a stellar opening showcase and showed off many games, but a majority of them are still unreleased, and undated. »

AMC Opens Writers’ Room to Develop TV Series Adaptation of Joe Hill’s NOS4A2

31 May 2017 3:44 PM, PDT | DailyDead | See recent DailyDead news »

AMC could be taking a trip to Christmasland in the future. Back in December of 2015, it was revealed that the network was considering developing a TV series based on Joe Hill's supernatural novel NOS4A2, and today AMC announced that it has opened a writers' room for NOS4A2 and two other projects.

Led by Jami O'Brien (Hell on Wheels), who, along with Joe Hill, will serve as an executive producer on the series should it move forward, NOS4A2 is now being developed in the aforementioned writers' room.

O'Brien and her team will work together to write scripts for multiple episodes and a framework for the first season, and if AMC likes the concept and story that O'Brien and company come up with, NOS4A2 could be ordered to series.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Gabriel Luna Wants The Walking Dead Star Norman Reedus To Play Ghost Rider

29 May 2017 6:33 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Ghost Rider is a character that just hasn’t had much luck when it comes to adaptations, despite finding huge success in the comics. In 2007, Sony brought us a film starring Nicholas Cage as the eponymous antihero and a sequel followed in 2012, though both were complete garbage. As such, Marvel got the rights back and used them as a chance to inject some new life into the struggling Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., by introducing Ghost Rider on the show.

Admittedly, he’s faring a lot better on the small screen than he did in theatres, but the character is still not exactly what fans want to see. Among other reasons, that’s because he’s the Robbie Reyes version of Ghost Rider, not Johnny Blaze, who’s the current favorite. However, earlier in the season, Blaze was teased briefly (at least, it’s assumed it was Blaze) and ever since then, »

Watch The Walking Dead Cast Be Brutally Beaten By Negan And Lucille

19 May 2017 1:39 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Nobody said surviving a zombie apocalypse was going to be a walk in the park, but this is just sadistic. The video above, first posted by appropriately named YouTuber ‘Wacky Weirdo’ in September 2016, compiles all the imagined deaths in Rick’s dream sequence from The Walking Dead‘s season 7 premiere. These all come courtesy of a baseball bat to the noggin, which causes a fountain of blood to cascade from each character’s head.

Pretty much every major player in the show gets a thorough bonking, the full lineup being Chandler Riggs, Ross Marquand, Josh McDermitt, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Sonequa Martin-Green and Christian Serratos. If you’ll cast your minds back to late 2016, you’ll remember it being particular bloodthirsty, with Abraham and Glenn both receiving a cruel serving of Negan’s barbed wire n’ baseball bat powered fury. Even by The Walking Dead standards, the scene was pretty gross. »

Boondock Saints TV Show Won't Bring Back Original Cast

8 May 2017 12:40 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

A few weeks ago, Don Carmody Television announced it was partnering with Boondock Saints creator Troy Duffy to create a Boondock Saints prequel TV series entitled Boondock Saints: Origins, which has launched a crowdfunding campaign to finance the first season. While no plot details were given, the title alone suggests a prequel that will provide an origin story for the MacManus brothers, although many were wondering if the original Boondock Saints stars Sean Patrick Flannery and Norman Reedus would be back as Conor and Murphy MacManus. Both actors took to social media to reveal that they have no involvement with this movie, or a proposed Boondock Saints 3 movie. Here's both actors' joint statement.

"For all those with questions about the Boondock Saints videos, news and announcements, neither Norman Reedus nor Sean Patrick Flannery are involved in any way with the TV show, Bds III, or their recent sales/marketing campaigns. »

Hideo Kojima discusses naked Norman Reedus in Death Stranding trailer

2 May 2017 3:45 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Over-sexualized characters and male nudity is actually fairly commonplace for a Hideo Kojima game (Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty even had a playable sequence where Raiden was captured by the enemy and had to escape in his birthday suit, covering his genitals with his hands as the player maneuvered him around the enemy base), but it still came as a surprise when the much talked about trailer for his much-anticipated upcoming project Death Stranding depicted popular The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus completely nude.

Kojima recently spoke to Gamespot about the decision, saying: “[Having Norman Reedus naked in the Death Stranding reveal trailer] is something I very specifically had in mind – I wanted people to see first a naked Norman. And then from there, you will be able to see him in different costumes, in different hairstyles, different equipment – and that’s as much as I should say today.”

The Boondock Saints: Origins Coming To Television

27 April 2017 2:13 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

The Boondock Saints may not be the most instantly recognizable film out there, but it’s got a very loyal following and for good reason. Fans will know full well just what an enjoyable, wild, Tarantino-esque, action romp it is, but unfortunately, critics didn’t quite see things the same way, as they panned it upon release. In the years since, though, it’s gone on to become a firm cult classic and even spawned a sequel in 2009. Admittedly, the second outing was a far cry from the first, but it had its moments and ever since, people have been crying out for another tale featuring vigilante twin brothers Connor (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy MacManus (Norman Reedus).

While another feature film is what fans want to see most, it looks like they’re going to have to settle for a small screen take on the story, as original director »
