Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's pregnancy and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's addiction issues could veer MTV's next season of "Jersey Shore" away from party-land and toward the starkly serious. For the first time since the show premiered in 2009, the cast's personal dramas may actually hurt the program.
Two of the regular eight cast members will likely be sober on the sixth season of the show, which is filming in Seaside Heights, N.J., once again this summer. Snooki, who is often the life of the party, is likely to put partying on hold due to her pregnancy, and The Situation recently entered rehab, reportedly at the Utah's Cirque Lodge, to battle a prescription pill addiction. While a coherent cast might be a boon to any other program, it could prove a detriment to "Jersey Shore."

Dr. Drew Pinsky jokingly warned about a highly addictive drug called Mdna, which is also the title of Madonna's new album.
While holding Madonna's new CD, the doc explained, "Side effects include dramatic increase in heart rate, overwhelming anxiety, diaphoresis..."

Ray J -- one of the few people to spend time with Whitney Houston in her last days -- is slamming allegations by the sister of Whitney's ex Bobby Brown that he provided the pop superstar with drugs.
The 31-year-old singer/songwriter issued a statement refuting the claims by Leolah Brown, who appeared on Hln's Dr. Drew show Thursday night.

Brown claimed on the show that she saw Ray J leaving Houston's Beverly Hills hotel room in a hurry on the day she died. Whitney Houston's official cause of death was deemed an accidental drowning, but the report also notes the singer suffered from heart disease and had cocaine and prescription drugs present in her system.
It's the cocaine that has the singer's former sister-in-law, Leolah Brown, pointing fingers at Whitney's reported boyfriend at her time of death, Ray J.
According to the L.A. Coroner's report, Houston used cocaine "immediately prior to her collapse," but when investigators arrived on the scene they found no trace of cocaine or any other illegal drugs in the room. Sources tell TMZ the individual who removed the cocaine from the scene was also the person who supplied it to the singer.

Dr. Drew Pinsky took to "The View" (weekdays on ABC) on Friday to speak out about Angelina Jolie, who he believes, from watching her at the Oscars, is "malnourished."
"I'm tired of keeping quiet about this stuff. When I was quiet about prescription drug use and then everyone starts dying, now I feel an obligation to speak up: She's malnourished. She has the [physical signs] ... of malnutrition," he said.
Dr. Drew went on to speculate as to what may be going on with Jolie's health. Mom of multiples/reality star Kate Gosselin sat down with Dr. Drew Pinsky on Wednesday's (Feb. 22) edition of "Dr. Drew's Lifechangers" and she admitted to Dr. Drew that despite having a house full of eight kids, she's lonely.
"No. I'm too busy," she answers when Dr. Drew asks if she has a love life. "I think a lot of my friends who are being constructive say 'gosh, who are you going to meet that is going to be able to deal with eight kids?' My answer is always if they can deal with eight kids in our situation it probably will be the person. It will sort of prove it."
