In Superman Vs. The Elite, Superman’s effectiveness as a super hero comes into question when a new group of super powerful crusaders, known as “The Elite,” appear on the scene. As super heroes, the Elite know no bounds, and are more than willing to kill, even on a massive scale, to stop villainy — putting them on a collision course with the ever-ethical, yet preferably non-lethal Man of Steel.
The all-new, PG-13 rated film is scripted by award-winning comics writer Joe Kelly and the story is adapted from his original 2001 DC Comics release, “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice and the American Way?” The single-issue comic, Action Comics #775, was lauded by Wizard Magazine as the “Greatest Superman Story of All Time,” and ranked the epic tale at No. 21 on its list of the “Top 100 Comics of the last 30 years.”

DC Comics Premiere and Warner Home Video have released three new short clips featuring members of The Elite in action, plus new images from the upcoming original animated movie. Check them out below, check them outers. It’s funny, the Elite looked way more powerful in the comics. Almost Godlike in their abilities. Here, though, they sort of look somewhat average, even generic. In Superman Vs. Pretty much everything is up in the air after the final moments of the "NCIS" season finale -- and for those following the off-screen business of the show, there's an extra bit of suspense too.
Tuesday's (May 15) finale ended with Harper Dearing (Richard Schiff) setting off a car bomb outside the NCIS headquarters -- and even though the building was under an evacuation order, nearly every member of the team was still inside. The one who wasn't, Ducky (David McCallum), collapsed on the beach after hearing the news, presumably from a heart attack.
It was a big ending to a strong three-part arc with a pretty unconventional villain: Schiff's Dearing is not a terrorist but the father of a dead sailor who blames the Navy for his son's death and is taking out on Gibbs and anyone else who might get in the way of his twisted quest for justice. »

DC Comics Premiere has released four new images and the first official clip from their upcoming original animated movie, “Superman vs. The Elite”, based on Joe Kelly’s 2001 Superman comic book story arc, “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice and the American Way?” Turns not, not too much, at least when you’re Superman and you’ve got lots to live up to, and the other guys don’t. In the film, Superman goes up against The Elite, a band of ridiculously powered anti-heroes who don’t exactly live up to the status of “heroes”. In fact, they’re kind of fascists. Really ridiculously powered super fascists, as it turns out, and it’s up to Superman to stop them or die trying. And do it honorably, at that. Well, mostly, anyway. “Superman vs. The Elite” features the voices of George Newbern as Superman, “NCIS” star Pauley Perrette as Lois Lane, »

NCIS Preview: The Explosive Arc To the Season 9 Finale Continues Tonight
NCIS continues its explosive climb to the May 15 finale of Season 9. The four-episode arc started by showing that, even after nine years, there is much left to explore about the NCIS team. The first installment in the arc, "Rekindled", explained how eternal frat boy, Tony Dinozzo, (Michael Weatherly) became a cop.
The "Rekindled" episode featuring Dinozzo saving a child from a fire was as emotionally combustable as the fiery bomb material, thermite, that is the thread connecting the arc. Weatherly's poignant portrayal of a man whose life found meaning in the screams of a child is a far cry from the class-clown-exterior schtick he uses to razz his team. Dinozzo opened a painful vein for McGee (Sean Murray) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) that is not revealed often to his NCIS teammates.

The NCIS season finale promises to be one of the most explosive installments in the show's nine years, with Gibbs and his team members continuing to track the terrorist(s) targeting the U.S. Navy.
The season’s final big arc, which began with "Rekindled" and "Playing With Fire," continues next Tuesday with "Up in Smoke" before concluding May 15 with the Season 9 finale, "Til Death Do Us Part."
What familiar face(s) can we expect to see? Who's using a stunt double? And what secret was so big the crew wasn't allowed to read it? We obviously don't know, but we welcome your theories below.

NCIS Inks Deal With McCallum For Season 10 Despite Hints Of Departure
NCISfans can relax, as David McCallum has inked his Season 10 deal. For those viewers who watched the explosive episode, "Playing With Fire", there was concern that McCallum might not be returning.
In the breathtaking episode, McCallum's character, Dr. Donald 'Ducky' Mallard, was focused on his will and asked Gibbs (Mark Harmon) to be executor of his estate. McCallum's re-signing of his contract means that Ducky should be sharing his wonderful stories for another season.
An integral part of the NCIS canvas since its première in 2003, McCallum is only one reason that NCIS is a ratings blockbuster, even as it goes into Season 10.
Because of its continuing success, CBS renewed NCIS in March, much sooner than many shows that still are waiting for renewal news to come in May. While it seems odd that a show that already has been »

Their minds may be on criminals, but their bodies still like to play dress-up.
Such was the appeal to the female stars of CBS' long-running Wednesday series "Criminal Minds" -- Paget Brewster, A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness -- when they participated earlier this year in a photo shoot for the June issue of CBS Watch! Magazine.
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Tysons Corner, Va. (just outside Washington, D.C.), proved to have all the swanky settings needed for the shoot's storyline casting the women as high-class spies tailing an international bad guy.
Brewster, alias FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit agent Emily Prentiss on "Criminal Minds," says while on location for the occasion that the feel is "very film-noir, three undercover chicks taking down a James Bond-villain archetype. It's been really fun, and the stylists gave us great clothes, so we're excited. I think we're all buying one of our dresses!"

David McCallum will return to NCIS for a 10th season next fall, and an 11th the year after that if the series continues on CBS. The original cast member agreed to a new, two-year contract this week.
McCallum is one of four original cast members whose contracts are up at the end of this season, along with Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette and Sean Murray (who joined during the first season).
During the quartet’s previous renegotiation two years ago, McCallum again was the first to reach a new agreement at the end of April. Talks with the other three stretched past the upfronts into June.
There is indication of that scenario happening again this year, with Weatherly, Perrette and Murray all in various stages of new negotiations. All ultimately re-signed then, of course, and are expected to again.
