Deb is a vapid model who spends endless hours examining her cankles, perfecting her toe tap beauty bounce, and is obsessed with Splendia. Jane is a high powered attorney who enjoys loser lit, practical Layne Bryant suits, and cares more about work than her own appearance. This week's My Life on the D-List didn't quite hit the heights of previous shows this season, but there was more than enough to tilt the arrow up.
Kathy heads down to Miami and meets up with Gloria Estefan, out former baseball player/now realtor Billy Bean, and runs afoul of an angry real estate lady with little patience for Kathy's humor.
And then there's Rosie O'Donnell's un-blurred bare derriere ...
In her continuing struggle to make it to the A-List, Kathy decides she needs a second house, preferably in a celeb-heavy area. She settles on Star Island in Miami, which I guess is sort of like Monster Island, only instead of Son of Godzilla and that one monster with a giant knife for a head, you've got Madonna and Sylvester Stallone.
That gives me a great idea for a movie ... it would be called Escape from Star Island, and

There are three people in this world who I believe are truly capable of giving me a genuine ass beating. There's Mike Tyson in his prime, Rosie O'Donnell when she's hungry (or horny), and Vinnie Jones. The former footballer most recently appeared in Year One and has over half a dozen films currently in production. So if you're as big a fan of this knucklehead as I am, you're in luck. In the meantime, check out this great video below that features the delicate, British flower, Vinnie Jones himself. Attack Cardio with Vinnie Jones from Vinnie Jones

O'Donnell said she was approached by the company after a recent appearance on talk-radio legend Howard Stern's Sirius show. "[Stern's] been very encouraging," she said. "After I did his show, they called and asked if I was interested. I don't really listen to radio, so I started thinking about it and listening. This story caught my eye this morning, and for some unfathomable reason I set it aside to prioritize other material. Which is odd, because the resurrection of Bride of Frankenstein may be the best news so far this week, in my opinion. And while I'm typically down on remakes — mostly because they're usually not very good and have become a lazy crutch in Hollywood — I'm not opposed to the occasional one, especially if the material is interesting and it's well executed (i.e. The Thomas Crown Affair).
Here are the details: Universal Pictures hopes to launch a new take on Bride of Frankenstein with filmmaker Neil Burger at the reins. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Burger may direct and co-write the remake. The original 1935 horror film featured Elsa Lanchester (pictured to your left) in the title role.
Sting and Jennifer Beals co-starred in a largely forgettable remake in 1985 called The Bride,

The first thing Kathy Griffin asked Lily Tomlin when she got her into bed on last night's My Life on the D-List was, "Did you turn Lindsay Lohan gay?"
Tomlin's response: "Ha ha ha! Actually, you know — maybe I did! I think she was sort of leaning, and, well, she probably admired my work so much, she thought that was the path to artistry."
It all started when Griffin shouted a D-List guest star invitation to Tomlin during the middle of one of her stand-up routines. Tomlin's initial response was to shield her eyes, look out in the audience and say, "No, I refuse to get on your sinking ship!" But of course she did, because Lily Tomlin is nothing if not a good sport, and Kathy Griffin's ship certainly isn't sinking. (Unless God smites her during a freak thunderstorm, which, let's be honest, is entirely possible.)

Whoopi Goldberg got The View back on its feet after Rosie O'Donnell left the show. But she owes the ABC talk show just as much credit as they owe her, because it saved her financially. Whoopi hadn’t been doing much in the line of show business since the 90s before the daytime gig came along. After doing Sister Act, Whoopi went through a major dry spell, and was once so strapped for cash she almost had to file for bankruptcy. Whoopi says, "Sometimes there is no choice. Oscar winner Whoopi Goldberg came close to financial ruin before landing a job as co-presenter of U.S. TV talkshow The View.
The actress shot to fame in 1985 after starring in the movie The Color Purple, a film which landed her her first Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe prize.
She went on to garner critical acclaim for roles in movies like 1990's Ghost and Sister Act in 1992, before moving into TV and enjoying stints on Broadway and as a singer - becoming one of few stars to boast an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy and a Tony Award for her career achievements.
But Goldberg reveals she almost lost everything after acting roles dried up - and was once so cash-strapped, she would have done anything to avoid bankruptcy.
She says, "Sometimes there is no choice. Often times people forget that sometimes you're a star and then things dry up and you still have to feed your family and these people have had everything at their feet. Suddenly there is nowhere for them to get a gig, no one will hire them."
And the comedienne, 53, admits she has TV bosses at The View and executives at New York radio station Wktu, who picked up her Wake Up With Whoopi show, to thank for helping her get her career back on track.
Speaking on the programme on Thursday, she reveals, "I'm talking to you this way because I have lived this, where you're begging people, please let me audition for you.
"If the radio show that I got hadn't come when it did, and The View hadn't called when it did, I would have (been broke) and I'm not ashamed to say I need help."
Goldberg's radio show was cancelled last year; she continues to present The View after replacing Rosie O'Donnell in September 2007.
