Donnie Hoyle has some company. The depressive image-altering guru’s original web series You Suck at Photoshop was recently resurrected for a third season by My Damn Channel, but the popular program that’s racked up over 40 million views in aggregate and a nod from Time as a topnotch entertainment property is just one of many online originals to join the new media studio’s new upcoming slate. On the eve of the launch of My Damn Channel Live a few weeks back, My Damn Channel Founder/CEO Rob Barnett told me to expect more than 30 series to be released by his company in addition to the live one, which is hosted by comedian Beth Hoyt and airs daily at 4Pm Eastern, usually with celebrity guests (like David Wain and The Gregory Brothers). Today, Barnett and his team are revealing a good portion of those 30 series, all of which are »

Few genres of film inspire more personal responses than the romantic comedy. Given how much of our lives is spent on love and romance (falling into it, falling out of it, chasing it, giving up on it), it's no surprise that the rom-com has remained one of the most popular formulas since the dawn of cinema, and while the genre has undisputed classics, you can end up cherishing certain films purely because of their connection to your own life. They can help pull you out of a post break-up tailspin, they can comfort you through unrequited love, and, if a film hits you at the height of your passion for someone, they can end up associated forever, even blinding you to the movie's flaws -- seeing "Elizabethtown" in the midst of first love left this writer swooning after exiting the theater (thankfully, a subsequent rewatch put me straight as to how terrible it is. »

Nine years after the last sequel and 13 years after the original was released, Jason Biggs, Tara Reid and the rest of the gang had an “American Reunion” this weekend, as they looked back on their high school years with wistful nostalgia.
Yes, it may be shocking to some, but the '90s are now a good decade and some past us. Given Hollywood’s love for remakes and sequels, it’s already started turning towards the '90s well — the 80’s have already been well-plundered, after all. Besides “American Reunion,” there was, of course, the announcement that Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels will reunite for a sequel to 1994’s uproarious “Dumb & Dumber.” Clearly, we’re in for an avalanche of '90s nostalgia for the next decade!
So, which '90s movies are ripe for a sequel? Here are five that we think would be great.
"Clueless"

American Idol‘s Season 11 Top 12 are set to cover the frequently traversed theme of “Songs From the Year You Were Born” tonight. (Way to cook up new and exciting ideas, Uncle Nigel)! I’m already saying a novena that Jessica Sanchez won’t get stuck in the Thia Megia ghetto (aka singing “Colors Of The Wind”) and that Joshua Ledet won’t be offering up Idol‘s eighth rendition of “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” in 11 seasons. (But, alas, hearing one of those ballads is almost as likely as Jermaine Jones performing nothing at all; read all about that scandalé here! »

These days it's impossible to release any animated feature without at least thirty names billed on the movie poster and the smog of its promotional campaigns polluting all of late night television.
But not unlike their superhero alter egos, once upon a time celebrity voice actors remained anonymous behind their animated masks. Most of us remember when our minds were blown by the revelation that James Avery, aka Uncle Phil from "Fresh Prince," provided the voice of Shredder on "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
Let's take a look at some lesser known, random, and nonsensical voice castings in the superhero universe.

Before Chris Evans donned the flame-retardant spandex as Johnny Storm, former teen heartthrob and present day Mr. Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green, was the first person in decades to bring life to The Human Torch. »

You may know comedian Mark Malkoff from that time he raced a New York City bus on a big wheel. Or from when got those six pack abs in 30 days. Or from how he lived in that Ikea in Paramus for a spell while his apartment was fumigated. Or from how he lived on that AirTran plane for 30 days. Or from when he spent five full days in his bathroom. Or from his single-day visit to all of the then 171 Starbucks locations in Manhattan. Or from when he offered New Yorkers free cab rides for a day. Or from when he brought that goat into an Apple store. Or from that time he got into pillow fights in an Ikea bedroom set at the Red Carpet of the Streamy Awards.
