I’m going to preface this by admitting that I’ve only ever seen one episode of Entourage, and that’s only because Artie Lange was in it. Other than that, I have no idea what the show is about. So if it seems like I don’t know what I’m talking about here, it’s because I don’t.
Deadline brings word that series creator Doug Ellin has finished the script for the Entourage movie. The story picks up six months after the end of the series, which had Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) as a “newly minted studio mogul.” But don’t worry, the script doesn’t focus solely on Gold.
“There are interesting developments about Ari as a studio head, and that’s still the first page for me. But foremost is the friendship between the guys who are still hanging out and going to fun parties, »

Louie, Season 3, Episode 6: “Barney/Never”
Written by Louis C.K.
Directed by Louis C.K.
Airs hursdays at 10:30pm Et
After a few especially sober, dry outings, Louie dips back into ouright comedic territory with “Berney/Never,” a bipartite episode with a pretty clear theme: shitty people, and the people who love and hate them unconditionally.
In the first part, Robin Williams guests as Robin (no relation), the only other mourner besides Louie at the burial of Barney, a shared acquaintance. After exchanging a few pleasantries, they’re relieved to discover they both absolutely hated the guy, a funny-voiced thief and cad who seemingly never did a good turn for anyone. Their morbid curiosity leads them to a strip club he frequented, and when they arrive there to announce Barney’s passing, the strippers and the rest of the staff break down in a mass orgy of tears set to Night Ranger’s “Sister Christian. »

Anyone looking for closure from last week’s episode with a Part 3 of "Daddy’s Girlfriend" didn’t find it here. The free-spirited and fleeting Liz came and went. But, seeing how this installment of Louie opened, one might jump to a catastrophic conclusion.
I could be wrong, but this is the first time we’ve had a totally different open. Instead of hearing the hook, we get something out of a foreign black and white film from the 50s. Louie makes his way through a cemetery alone – the wind howls and a flute (or clarinet?) plays a somber tune. It’s morose and downtrodden.
While Louie’s regular intro touches on death, it has a lighthearted, upbeat rhythm to it. This is the reality of death. But who is Louie going to see? Could it be Liz took her own life?
He arrives at the burial site and is joined by one other man. »

DirecTV is adding to the original programming on its Audience Network channel, including its first original scripted drama series, reports Variety. DirecTV has given a 10-episode order to "Rogue," a suspense drama starring Thandie Newton as a morally conflicted cop, for the summer 2013. In July, Audience Network will add a nightly TV iteration of "Nick and Artie Show," the comedic sports talk radio program hosted by Howard Stern regulars Nick Dipaolo and Artie Lange. It will serve as the latenight (10 p.m.-1 a.m.) complement to Audience's daily 9 a.m.-noon simulcast of "The Dan Patrick Show." The 101 Network was rebranded as the Audience Network last June. Artie Lange has claimed that his extensive stint in drug rehab in 2010 saved his life. The comedian was forced to leave The Howard Stern Show in December 2009 due to an alleged drug-related incident and a month later attempted to commit suicide. Lange discussed his troubled past on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, revealing that he only began to recover after spending several months in a Florida medical center. "I feel fantastic. I went to rehab. I had some issues that had to be dealt with in rehab. They have experts there, that deal with people like me... It was in South Florida," he explained to Jimmy Fallon. The comic went on to say: "I went down there and I had a counsellor, she's a wonderful woman, 60 years old, very sweet. It's me and eight guys in the group... and the woman says, (more) »

Troubled comedian Artie Lange has opened up about his extended rehab stint in Florida, revealing he's finally conquered his problems with drugs and alcohol.
Lange, the sidekick of radio show host Howard Stern, has struggled with substance abuse over the last few years and he largely stepped out of the spotlight following an alleged suicide attempt in January, 2010.
The funnyman has now come clean about his road to recovery, admitting he's put his drug-fuelled past behind him after getting help for a period of several months at a treatment centre in South Florida.
During an appearance on U.S. programme Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Friday, he said, "I feel fantastic. I went to rehab. I had some issues that had to be dealt with in rehab. They have experts there, that deal with people like me... It was in South Florida... I went down there and I had a counsellor, she's a wonderful woman, 60-years-old, very sweet. It's me and eight guys in the group... and the woman says, 'You know I think your drug-use can be traced back to (your) lack of self-importance.'"
And while Lange admits getting sober wasn't easy, he insists he's finally kicked his habits.
He continues, "The first month there I was doing drugs, in Florida drugs are all over the place. They wash up on the shore... Smugglers, if they think they're going to get caught, they throw cocaine off in a bag... It happens so much, they give it a name, they call it white lobster... (But) I finally got the idea of rehab, which is to stop doing drugs... A lot of normal people, like you, think rehab is like white (lab) coats... It's not that way. It's people (that are) really concerned (about you)." »

The Will Ferrell who greeted me at his Upper East Side hotel room this past Saturday was nothing like the bombastic characters he plays in his movies. Nor was he the larger-than-life personality we know from the talk-show circuit. The Will Ferrell I met was the kind of guy who greets you with a smile and a pastry. As we spoke, I came to the conclusion that Will Ferrell is a very insightful and interesting man -- one who happened to be dressed in a powder-blue-and-brown snap-up cowboy shirt better suited for a six-year-old. Ferrell is promoting his new film, "Casa de Mi Padre." In the film, Ferrell plays a rancher who is unwittingly caught up in the evils of the drug trade after discovering that his brother works for a cartel. Oh, yeah, the movie is almost entirely in Spanish. Purposely presented as a low-budget film with terrible editing, »
