Expectant parents Elvis Costello and Diana Krall are celebrating all over again with the news they're expecting two babies. The singers originally thought they were getting one bundle of joy but were shocked to learn that six-month-pregnant Krall is having twins. Krall, 41, says, "I'm not kidding. I have twins on my mother's side as well. We know (the sex) and everyone's been asking me, but we're keeping that private because we just want to have something for ourselves." The babies will arrive just in time for the couple's third wedding anniversary on December 6. »

Marshall, NBC duet to mark Bennett's 80th

Tony Bennett will celebrate his 80th birthday in style -- with a star-studded music special on NBC to be directed and executive produced by Chicago helmer Rob Marshall. Titled Tony Bennett: An American Classic, the special is based on Bennett's upcoming album featuring duets with some of the music business' biggest names. A number of them -- including Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Diana Krall, k.d. lang, Michael Buble, John Legend, Juanes, trumpeter Chris Botti and violinist Pinchas Zukerman -- will perform with Bennett on the show. Also set to appear on the hourlong program are Robert De Niro, Billy Crystal and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who was an Oscar winner for her role in Chicago. »

Krall and Costello Expecting a Baby

Canadian singer Diana Krall and husband Elvis Costello are expecting a baby. A spokesman for the pair has confirmed "The Look Of Love" singer is due in December. The baby will arrive just in time for the couple's third wedding anniversary on December 6. Veteran English rocker Costello, 51, is currently touring with Allen Toussaint in support of their album, The River In Reverse. Krall, 41, is set to release her new album this September. »

Anderson set as Juno Awards host

OTTAWA -- Pamela Anderson has signed to host the 2006 Juno Awards, which will air April 2 on the CTV network from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Past hosts of the Canadian music awards show include Shania Twain and Alanis Morissette, who parodied the Janet Jackson Super Bowl halftime incident by appearing onstage in a flesh-colored bodysuit. But the Canadian-born Anderson represents the awards show's most globally branded host to date. "She's famous around the world, but Pamela will feel right at home in Halifax," CTV president of programming Susanne Boyce said of the former Baywatch actress. Britpop sensation Coldplay and Canadian rockers Bryan Adams and Nickelback and cover artist Michael Buble already have been announced as Juno performers. In the juried awards competition, Nickelback leads the pack with six nominations, followed by jazz star Diana Krall and Buble with five nominations each. Arcade Fire, Neil Young and the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra each have three nominations. »

OTTAWA -- Nickelback leads the pack with six nominations for the Junos, Canada's music awards, which were announced Wednesday by the CTV network and the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Nickelback grabbed noms for best group, rock album and album for their latest release, "All the Right Reasons"; producer and single for "Photograph"; and another in the Juno's fan choice competition. Close behind are jazz star Diana Krall and cover artist Michael Buble, each snagging five nominations. Three noms each went to the Arcade Fire, rock legend Neil Young and the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra. »
