Katy Perry Suffered a Wardrobe Malfunction on 'American Idol' — but She Handled It Like a Pro!

Uh-oh! If you’ve been watching ABC’s reboot of American Idol, you’re well aware that judge Katy Perry is the best part of the show — especially when she gets excited about a young pop hopeful’s audition. Unfortunately, however, Katy’s enthusiasm got the best of her during a recent episode of the hit singing competition series when she decided to get up and dance while contestant Michelle Sussett sang Selena’s 1994 single "Techno Cumbia." It wasn’t long before the superstar, 33, lost her footing and fell over. The worst part, though? She accidentally suffered a wardrobe malfunction in her glittering mini dress, revealing her undergarments to the camera. Luckily. producers kept Katy covered with a strategically placed American Idol logo. To see how it all (literally) went down, watch the video above! (Photo Credit: Getty Images) Despite her fall, Katy took the embarrassing moment like a champ and laughed it off.

Todd McFarlane Will Reportedly Start Shooting Spawn in May

Todd McFarlane is actually about to start shooting his long-awaited Spawn film. As you know, he's been talking about this film for years. I honestly never thought that it was going to happen, but... he proved me wrong! According to Omega Underground, the film will start shooting sometime in May, most likely in New York City.

We still have no idea who will star in the film, but MacFarlane has thrown out names like Jamie Foxx as Al Simmons and Leonardo DiCaprio as Twitch, but I seriously doubt that's going to happen. I am curious to see who he ends up casting, though.

MacFarlane previously explained that the movie would most center around Twitch and over the years he's loved comparing his story to Jaws.

"There's two big roles in the script. There's obviously sort of Spawn himself, although in a weird way it's not the biggest role, and then there's the cop.

Katie Holmes Admits She Sometimes Feels Jealous of Other Moms on Social Media

So, apparently, Katie Holmes is a little competitive. Suri Cruise's mama recently admitted to Women's Health that she doesn't go on social media — Instagram specifically — too often in order to avoid the unwanted feeling of competition between herself and other moms. But sometimes, it happens anyways, and she finds herself getting jealous of other mothers and their families. "Like, that one has taken her child to Morocco, why haven't I taken my child to Morocco?" she revealed to the magazine. Most mothers would probably agree that Katie does it all — and well! The 39-year-old juggles a successful acting and directing career, all while taking care of soon-to-be 12-year-old Suri full-time. "Some people say, 'It must be so hard to act and direct at the same time.' But it's not as challenging as it looks, because you're in charge of it. And when you're a mom — we're used to doing 25 things at once.

2018 Oscars: Best Picture presenters should be Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep (even though she stars in a nominee)

2018 Oscars: Best Picture presenters should be Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep (even though she stars in a nominee)
To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Academy Awards, the two all-time nominations champs (and two-time co-stars) Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep should hand out Best Picture on March 4. Yes, Streep stars in one of the nine nominees, “The Post.” But does anyone really think that film will win?

While Nicholson has been the academy’s go-to guy for this award a record eight times, Streep — who has starred in a couple of Best Picture champs (“Kramer versus Kramer” and “Out of Africa”) — has never had a turn. Sure, she has presented other awards, both honorary and competitive, but surely it is time for her to be given this honor, especially in the year in which she reaped her 21st Oscar nomination. And with her headline-making speeches, viewers are sure to stay tuned to the end of the show to see if Streep once again goes after Donald Trump.

Oscars 2018: How ‘Baby Driver’ Became an Unconventional Editing Contender
Edgar Wright’s “Baby Driver” was a bold experiment, a heist film built around a rock playlist that earned a well-deserved Oscar nomination for editing. It won the BAFTA for editing on Sunday, putting it in the spotlight during the final week of voting.

Wright made a musical tour de force involving getaway driver Baby (Ansel Elgort). Every waking moment of his life is driven by music (to drown out his tinnitus): the appropriate track for the appropriate moment. Thus, the world falls in sync with Baby’s playlist, as everything is filtered through his point of view.

Editors Paul Machliss and Jonathan Amos were charged with timing everything to the precise rhythm and beat of the music. It was a symbiosis of production and post occurring at the same time, with Machliss working live on set in Atlanta, while Amos handled the cutting back in London.
