We still have no idea who will star in the film, but MacFarlane has thrown out names like Jamie Foxx as Al Simmons and Leonardo DiCaprio as Twitch, but I seriously doubt that's going to happen. I am curious to see who he ends up casting, though.
MacFarlane previously explained that the movie would most center around Twitch and over the years he's loved comparing his story to Jaws.

Best Picture: “Dunkirk”
When you look at what it takes to make a picture and who’s behind it, I think “Dunkirk” is head and shoulders the Best Picture. Chris Nolan is a master if you really dissect everything that came into it. That’s why a lot of the technical categories have been recognized by their peers.
While Nicholson has been the academy’s go-to guy for this award a record eight times, Streep — who has starred in a couple of Best Picture champs (“Kramer versus Kramer” and “Out of Africa”) — has never had a turn. Sure, she has presented other awards, both honorary and competitive, but surely it is time for her to be given this honor, especially in the year in which she reaped her 21st Oscar nomination. And with her headline-making speeches, viewers are sure to stay tuned to the end of the show to see if Streep once again goes after Donald Trump.

Lionsgate announced Monday that it had set a Sept. 14 slot with its film noir thriller “A Simple Favor,” starring Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively, and Henry Golding.
Egerton is starring in the Robin Hood origin story along with Jamie Foxx as Little John and Eve Hewson as Maid Marian. “Fifty Shades of Grey” star Jamie Dornan will portray Will Scarlett, the half-brother of Robin Hood.
Otto Bathurst is directing “Robin Hood” from Joby Harold’s script. Producers are Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson, Basil Iwanyk, Tory Tunnell, and Harold. Production companies are DiCaprio’s Appian Way, Safehouse Pictures, and Iwanyk’s Thunder Road Pictures. The story will center on Robin Hood being a war-hardened crusader and joining with a Moorish commander in an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown.
