Scoot forward a few years and the all-American star with Cuban-German-English-Cherokee ancestry is still at the top of the A-list and has romanced a conveyor belt of dishy men to boot. As new flick What Happens In Vegas opens in cinemas across the UK this week, it's high time we found out more about Hollywood's golden girl.

British authorities are appealing a court decision to allow rapper Snoop Dogg into the U.K.
The Beautiful hitmaker - real name Calvin Broadus - was prohibited from entering Britain after he was involved in a brawl at Heathrow Airport in April 2006.
That ruling was overturned earlier this year when Snoop wrote to the U.K. government to ask for his visa ban to be lifted.
But, on Friday, Britain's Border Agency bosses confirmed they will challenge the decision at a hearing next week (begs07Apr08).
The 2006 incident at Heathrow Airport left seven police officers injured and led to the star being handed a caution for affray and a ban on returning to the country.
In March 2007, Snoop had to cancel a tour of Britain with fellow rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs when he was denied a visa.
The following month, he was also denied entry into Australia.

Hip-hop star Snoop Dogg has launched a scathing attack on U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama - accusing him of gleaning support from a race hate group.
The rapper, real name Calvin Broadus Jr., insists the Democratic candidate has received funding from historically anti-black organisation the Ku Klux Klan (Kkk).
He says, "The Kkk gave Obama money. They was (sic) one of his biggest supporters... Why wouldn't they be? The media won't tell you that. They don't want you to know that. They just want you to know that this n**ger befriended this other n**ger who be (sic) threatening your values.
"But we all know all presidents lie to get into f**king office. That's they (sic) job."
But Dogg insists Obama will still emerge victorious in the October elections.
He adds, "In America's eyes, that muthaf**ker's gonna be president 'cos (John) McCain can't f**k with him. Hillary (Clinton) can't f**k with him. He's winning over white people, white ladies."

Rapper Nelly is set to collaborate with legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen on his forthcoming album.
The Hot In Herre hitmaker has approached The Boss about making a record together - and the veteran singer is more than happy to oblige.
Scheduling difficulties made it impossible to get the song recorded in time for Nelly's latest Lp Brass Knuckles - which will be released in July - but the hip-hop star is determined to make the collaboration happen later this year, and possibly feature the track on a special edition of the album.
He says, "We still might get a chance to get it off. We're saving it. We might repackage it for the holidays."
Nelly's new record already features collaborations with artists including Fergie, Akon, Snoop Dogg and Ll Cool J.
