CSI: Miami will be down one investigator if renewed for an eleventh season, as Eva La Rue — who currently stars in CBS’ on-the-bubble cop drama — has been cast in ABC’s Untitled Mandy Moore Project.
The half-hour comedy centers on newlyweds Annie (Moore) and Ben (Traffic Light’s Nelson Franklin), who open a restaurant in Annie’s hometown, bringing her closer to her needy and high maintenance family. La Rue will play Annie’s older sister.

Former West Wing co-star Stockard Channing has signed onto Mandy Moore’s ABC comedy pilot.
Channing has joined the untitled half-hour comedy along with Kurt Fuller (Psych) as Moore’s parents on the show. She’ll play the warm and devoted and sometimes overbearing and manipulative matriarch of the family. Fuller plays a good-natured dad who’s used to taking a backseat to his take-charge wife. Majandra Delfino and Erinn Hayes also star.
Channing has a long TV career that includes 1980′s The Stockard Channing Show and the 2005 medical drama Out of Practice.

Majandra Delfino will appear alongside Mandy Moore in a new ABC comedy pilot. The project, directed by Night at the Museum's Shawn Levy, will star Moore as Annie, a newlywed who gets the chance to run a hip new restaurant with her husband. However, when she returns to her hometown, Annie comes under siege from her demanding family. Former Roswell star Delfino will play Annie's divorced sister who is still living with her parents, according to Deadline. Christopher Lloyd has been cast as the grandfather to John Leguizamo and Dustin Ybarra in ABC's comedy "Only Fools and Horses," which chronicles this rag-tag family as they come up with crazy, morally questionable get-rich-quick schemes in their pursuit to become millionaires. [Deadline]

Funnyman Dane Cook has been tapped to star in the NBC comedy pilot Next Caller Please.
The project centers on a Colorado radio host (played by Cougar Town‘s Collette Wolfe) who scores a dream gig with a New York-based satellite radio station. Alas, her excitement is dashed when she meets Cook’s character, her abrasive, hard-drinking and sexist new co-host.
Weeds producer Stephen Falk penned the pilot.

Veteran Christpher Lloyd has been tapped to star opposite John Leguizamo and Dustin Ybarra in ABC’s multicamera comedy pilot Only Fools And Horses. Based on the British format, the multicamera comedy chronicles the misadventures of two streetwise brothers, Del (Leguizamo) and Rodney (Ybarra), and their aging grandfather (Lloyd) as they concoct outrageous, morally questionable get-rich-quick schemes in their quest to become millionaires. Newly-wed actors David Walton and Majandra Delfino are set to become first-time parents.
Roswell star Delfino and Perfect Couples actor Walton wed last March in Miami, Florida, and they will have an extra-special first anniversary as they prepare to welcome their first child.
The tot is due in the summer.

There’s a baby on the way for David Walton and Majandra Delfino!
The actors will welcome their first child this summer, they tell People exclusively.
“We couldn’t be more excited — or wildly unprepared,” say Walton, 33, and former Roswell star Delfino. ”It’s going to be fantastic!”
The couple wed on March 18 at Trinity Cathedral in Miami.
Delfino, 30, was most recently on the ABC Family sitcom State of Georgia. Next up for former Perfect Couples star Walton is the NBC comedy Bent, slated to premiere later this year.
