Did You Know?

Personal Quote:

[on former White House press secretary Jim Brady]. He had a certain twinkle in his eye and a way of letting you know that he knew what he was doing and everything would be all right. He had a zest for life that was infectious. He loved to hear or tell a good story, laughed easily, could see the silver lining in even the darkest cloud, and made the best chili in town! See more »

Trivia:

Director/writer/actor Albert Brooks asked her to play the part of his mother Beatrice Henderson in Mother (1996). Nancy really wanted to come out of acting retirement to play the role, but declined because she couldn't bear to be away from husband and former president Ronald Reagan, who was suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The role eventually went to Debbie Reynolds. See more »
