The Last Word on ‘Wonder Woman’

Okay, before I get to everything else, what the hell is with these superhero movies like “Wonder Woman” rewriting history? Like-, c’mon- okay, alternative future, fine, I get that. Alternative parallel present world where now superheroes exists, okay, that I can get behind, but now both Marvel and DC, multiple times, are now taking superheroes into the past, and placing them in history. That is stupid. I don’t care how well it’s pulled off, the whole point of superheroes is that we’re imagining a fictional world in which there are now a group of people greater than humans exist in the world that are capable of amazing feats, that we can only imagine. When you put those characters in the past, we can’t imagine ’cause now they’re there and history would then be changed. Why would there be a world where World War II happened,

Now that the Marvel slots are no more, which slots can comic book fans still play?

However, don’t despair.

There are still slots based around comic characters out there, whether from Marvel’s great rival DC, or from some of the smaller, independent publishers.

Here is our pick of the best comic slots that you can still play in 2018.

Hellboy

This half-man, half-demon is one of the comic book world’s more recent characters, making his debut in 1993. However, Anung Un Rama Aka Hellboy has quickly become a firm favourite among comic book aficionados, spawning a couple of feature films,

Can you believe it has been 17 years since Broken Lizard released the first Super Troopers movie!? That film has built a loyal cult following over the years and a lot of fans have been wondering what is going on with the sequel because it's been awhile since we've heard anything from it.

Well, today I'm happy to share a red-band trailer for Super Troopers 2 which is filled with all the wonderfully funny jokes that I think the fans of the first film will appreciate and enjoy. The big question is... does the movie look like it was worth the wait? Watch the trailer and let us know!

Everyone’s favorite law enforcement team is back by popular demand with the long anticipated follow up to the cult comedy classic…Super Troopers. When an international border dispute arises between the U.S. and Canada, the Super Troopers–Mac, Thorny, Foster,

Full-Length ‘Super Troopers 2’ Trailer Released!

Focus Features has released the first full-length trailer for ‘Super Troopers 2‘, and it is glorious. The trailer gives us our first full look at the plot of the film, which features Thorny (Jay Chandrasekhar), Foster (Paul Soter), Mac (Steve Lemme), Rabbit (Erik Stolhanske), and Farva (Kevin Heffernan) all returning to settle a border dispute that arises between our heroes and some nearby canadian mounties. Naturally, cultures clash and hilarity ensues.

The film–which was crowdfunded through an extremely successful indiegogo campaign–comes out 17 years after the release of the original ‘Super Troopers’. During that time, the original film has achieved cult status, so to say that fans of the original (such as myself) are excited for the sequel is an understatement. Although the trailer itself does seem to pander to the audience of the original a little too much, it’s to be expected since the film was literally

'Super Troopers 2': Patrol Crosses Border in Wacky New Trailer

'Super Troopers 2': Patrol Crosses Border in Wacky New Trailer
When the opening sequence of the new trailer for Super Troopers 2 involves Farva shooting and killing a bald eagle with a rifle and then expecting to win something for the deed, it's a good bet that the sequel will remain true to its original: jokes and characters are the focus over plot.

Still, the new clip provides some details to the film's storyline. Apparently, a French-Canadian town is found to be in American territory and so the Vermont state troopers are assigned to take over the existing Canadian station

Official Full-Length Trailer for 'Super Troopers 2' Pits USA vs Canada

"They've been waiting for a second chance... waiting for their country to need them again..." Damn Yanks! Crazy Canadians! Fox Searchlight has debuted the new full-length trailer for the long-awaited sequel Super Troopers 2, hitting theaters on April 20th this spring, because of course it opens on 4/20. Makes total sense. This stoner comedy sequels picks up where the first film (released back in 2001) left off and follows the Super Troopers who are tasked with establishing a Highway Patrol station in a border area between the Us and Canada. Pretty much everyone is back: Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, Brian Cox, Lynda Carter, and Marisa Coughlan. The newcomers this time include Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rob Lowe, Tyler Labine, Will Sasso, and Hayes MacArthur. As expected, this looks totally nuts and ridiculous, but still hilarious. Light up that blunt, kick back, and enjoy. Here's the official full-length trailer

Gal Gadot explains why she never responded to James Cameron’s Wonder Woman criticism

Although Wonder Woman garnered near-universal acclaim following its release last year – including a nomination at the WGA Awards this week – one person who didn’t seem to be much of a fan was James Cameron, with the Titanic and Avatar director describing the movie as a “step backwards” for the representation of females on screen.

While both director Patty Jenkins and TV Wonder Woman Lynda Carter both issues firm responses to Cameron’s criticisms, the Amazon Princess herself Gal Gadot opted to stay silent on the subject, and during an interview with EW, the actress has revealed why:

“Because I didn’t want to give him the stage,” said Gadot. “First of all, I’m a big fan of his work. His movies are great. He was very innovative in many things that he did, and I’ve got nothing but great things to say about the creative and professional side of his work.

Gal Gadot Gives Tiniest of Teases for Wonder Woman 2 and Her Excitement is Contagious

Wonder Woman was one of my favorite movies this year, and I know a lot of people have it high on their lists as well. So far, she’s been the best thing to happen to the DC Movie Universe with all of the other movies having the tendency of being mediocre at best. That is one reason why we’re all excited about the sequel.

The first one was such a good movie that when it comes to Wonder Woman, we’re no longer expecting mediocrity. She is the reason some people watched Justice League. For many people that I know, she was the best part of Batman Vs Superman. We’ve been hearing director Patty Jenkins talk about her excitement for the sequel, and now Gal Gadot has given us a bit of a tease for the sequel. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gadot was asked about

Wonder Woman 2: Gal Gadot Teases What’s Next For Diana Prince

What’s next for the great, all-powerful Diana Prince?

That’s a very good question, and one that was presented to none other than Gal Gadot as part of her exhaustive interview with Entertainment Weekly. After tackling the barrage of criticism leveled at Justice League, with the general consensus being that Zack Snyder’s star-studded epic is a big, beautiful mess, Gadot circled back to focus on the Immortal Warrior, who is now expected to return in 2019.

Yes, Wonder Woman 2 is officially on the horizon, and though Warner Bros. and writer-director Patty Jenkins are keeping mum on any and all story details, we’ve caught wind that Diana’s second solo outing will shift the focus to the Cold War, while there’s even been mention of a “totally different” adventure for the Amazonian.

But during her extensive chat with EW, Gal Gadot briefly touched base about the upcoming

Director Patty Jenkins Says Wonder Woman 2 Will Be a "Totally Different" Movie

Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman surpassed the expectations of fans and ended up being one of the most critically-acclaimed comic book movies. I love it and it was one of my favorite films last year. I'm super excited about the sequel that is in development and it's going to be interesting to see what kind of story they tell and how it's handled.

Jenkins will be back to direct Gal Gadot in the sequel and they are going to be doing something very different this next time around. While talking to Entertainment Tonight at the Palm Springs Film Festival, Jenkins explained:

"We’re actually making a totally different film with a lot of the same, similar like things that we love, but it’s its own movie completely, so it’s not ‘two’ to us. It’s an entirely new adventure together that we couldn’t be luckier [to do]."

That's good to hear.

Wonder Woman 2 Won't Feel Like a Sequel Promises Director

Wonder Woman 2 Won't Feel Like a Sequel Promises Director
Patty Jenkins has revealed that Wonder Woman 2 will be a totally different experience than the first outing when it hits the big screen in 2019. When Wonder Woman arrived in theaters over the summer, expectations weren't super high, but the movie came out and broke records for both the Dceu and for Patty Jenkins. Moviegoers flocked to see the first female-led superhero movie in a decade. The empowering adventure, starring Gal Gadot, ended up as one of the year's highest grossing blockbusters, and a sequel was announced shortly after it premiered, leading many to speculate how Warner Bros. and Jenkins would handle this follow-up.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Patty Jenkins revealed that she has no intention of making a carbon copy of the first Wonder Woman movie. As it turns out, she wants to make something that is completely different this time around, which may prove to be quite the challenge.
