Prometheus? Pah. The Dark Knight Rises? So what? This blockbuster comes to you courtesy of a marketing visionary
Since this summer is brimming with an unusually large brace of colossal blockbusters, it's only natural that some are going to get left behind. Hopefully, The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure won't be one of them.
Why would it be? After all, the official synopsis is easily the equal of, say, Prometheus, given that it revolves around three friends trying to retrieve the five most magical balloons in all of Lovelyloveville before returning to their cottage in time for a surprise birthday party. What's more, the poster clearly states that the film is from "the marketing visionary who brought you Teletubbies and Thomas the Tank Engine". Peete And Braxton Spread The Word On Autism Day

Holly Robinson Peete and Toni Braxton are among the stars encouraging fans to participate in World Autism Awareness Day on Monday.
The actress, whose eldest son Rodney, Jr. was diagnosed with the developmental disorder, switched on blue lights at the Little Nell gala in Aspen, Colorado on Sunday to mark the annual fundraising drive.
She took to Twitter.com to share a photo of herself at the event, writing, "In Aspen and just pulled the switch to light up the mountain blue (for) autism awareness!"
Braxton, whose nine-year-old son Diezel has autism, also tweeted statistics about the condition as well as information about major buildings around the world 'lighting up' with blue bulbs for World Autism Awareness Day.
She also asked followers to don blue clothing for the occasion, writing, "I encourage everyone to wear a piece of blue to show support for Autism Awareness Day! It's spring, blue goes great with everything!" »

On the "Braxton Family Values" (Wed., 9 p.m. Et on We) reunion special Toni Braxton opened up about the pressure of featuring in a television reality show.
Wendy Williams asked Toni if it was her conscious decision to not feature on Season 2 so much. "It is extremely invasive," Toni said. "Everywhere you go in your life is 'there,' and for me, I don't like that."
She added that "over time you forget that the cameras are there, and then you become completely open and ... you're exposed."
So, will Toni feature in Season 3? To sister Tamar's horror, Toni hinted that no, she won't appear in the show. "But 'The Braxtons' is not 'The Braxtons' without Toni!" said Tamar.

Toni Braxton has announced the title of her new album. Heartstrings & Synagogue Vibes marks the eighth LP from the singer. It is scheduled for release in May this year. Discussing the record with That Grape Juice, she said: "You're going to want to dance all night. Let's say it's probably very 'Last Dance'-ish. Los Angeles, California (X17online) - Eddie Murphy might have resigned from hosting the Oscars this year, but the comedian hopes to add the gig to his resume someday, he revealed while promoting his latest film, A Thousand Words. "It's still something that I would like to do one day, because all the best comics have done it. It's one of the few things I haven't done in my 35 years in this business, so I would like that to be part of my resume as well," the Tower Heist actor explained to Access Hollywood. Murphy backed out of hosting Hollywood's biggest night when Brett Ratner, who was set to direct the show, was replaced by Brian Grazer after he made homophobic comments at a Los Angeles film screening. It looks like Eddie Murphy may have a new woman in his life: Toni Braxton.
Us Weekly reports that the couple has been quietly dating for four months. The source tells us, that Braxton, 44, and Murphy, 50, "are seeing each other and very into it."
While a rep for Braxton insists that the two are just friends, Us' source says, "Their kids have met and everything. It's getting very serious."
Murphy divorced his wife of 13 years, Nicole Mitchell, in 2006. The two have five children together. He then briefly dated former Spice Girl Melanie Brown until she announced she was pregnant with his child and he, in an interview, said, "I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test." It did and it was, according to Brown's reps. He then "symbolically" married Tracey Edmonds in 2008, but split 16 days later.

I’m not excited whatsoever for Madonna’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. Not because I dislike Madonna or think that she’ll do a bad job; on the contrary, I’m sure she’ll play the hits and bring out A-list special guests galore and make a giant entertaining spectacle and it’ll all be completely polished and well-done. The only problem is, there’s nothing memorable or transcendent about ‘good’ Super Bowl Halftime Shows. Prince and Bruce Springsteen each did about as well as a Super Bowl performer could possibly aim for, and both performances still boiled down to just 12 pretty good minutes from musicians whose fans have assuredly seen them do far better 2-3 hour concerts on other occasions. The biggest standout moment was still Springsteen sliding into the camera. The only time we remember a Super Bowl Halftime Show is when it is memorably bad. That is to say, »
