On screen, Ryan Reynolds had no choice but to put a ring on it (Sandra Bullock coerced him!) in The Proposal. But for these stars in their off-screen lives, no charades were involved - and in one case no ring, either - when the big question was popped … just a nude beach and a sports car to help set the mood. Jason Biggs, married to Jenny Mollen: "I proposed twice. I proposed once spontaneously - I didn't even have a ring. I used an earring. We were in St. Martin. I just bought her these earrings and I took

One of the many things I love about Channing Tatum's fiancee Jenna Dewan is her support of various charities that assist both women and children all around the world. I have new photos and a video of Jenna doing just that for the children affected by illness at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and for the women and children in the war-ravaged country of the Congo.
In the pics above and below, you see Jenna as she arrives at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center 2009 "Rock-n-Reel" Musical Extravaganza on June 14, 2009 at Culver Studios. The Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Ibd) Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center honored Producer Alexandra Milchan-Lambert and Relativity Media President of Production Scott Lambert at their inaugural Rock-n-Reel event.
The afternoon celebrated the children who suffer from Ibd and their families and featured a fun-filled day of activities including arts and crafts, interactive games, a beauty shop and sports

This weekend Sandra Bullock returns for more romantic comedy in The Proposal, this time dragging along Ryan Reynolds for the other half of the “will they or won’t they” formula. You can probably already guess the generic ending even before stepping foot in a theater, so it’s mostly just sit back and hope Reynolds pulls off another one-liner.
The predictable plot is par for the course with director Anne Fletcher, who walks down the aisle of another wedding rom-com after last year’s 27 Dresses. However, this proposal is a working world pun on office offers and engagement exchanges. Maggie (Bullock), a Canadian, has to get married in order to avoid being deported and losing her job at a New York City publishing firm. She comes to a mutual agreement (well, blackmail) with Andy (Reynolds) to play up the nuptials until she secures her citizenship. The rest of the

Jason Biggs is desperate to become a father. The 'American Pie' actor - who wed wife Jenny Mollen in a secret ceremony last year - revealed the couple are keen to have children and want to start a family in the near future. He said: "The only thing I am missing is kids! We are going to go down that road shortly. "We want somewhere between six and seven." Jason and Jenny tied the knot last April without their friends and family because they wanted a low-key ceremony. Early in his career, Woody Allen famously cast himself as the male lead in his movies, making a name for himself as an actor in Bananas, Annie Hall, Manhattan, and many others. As he grew older, Allen kept the neurotic persona but has occasionally charged other actors with the role, including John Cusack, Will Ferrell, and Jason Biggs.
For his upcoming release Whatever Works, Allen has once again thrown the role onto someone else, casting Curb Your Enthusiasm's Larry David as the lead. While it was a bit of a stretch for someone like Ferrell to take up Allen's mantle, with just a little digging it's clear that this role won't be too difficult for David. In fact, their similarities are pretty stunning. See Whatever Works: Woody Allen Casts His Twin.

Question: I loved But I'm a Cheerleader, and I have watched Itty Bitty Titty Committee ten times now. Enough already! When is Jamie Babbit's next movie coming out?
― Tina, Columbia, MD
Answer: Did you check out Babbit's 2005 feature, The Quiet, starring Elisha Cuthbert, Camilla Belle and Edie Falco? If not, the cast alone should be enough to send you to the video store.
I passed your question along to Babbitt, who told me:
I'm currently casting for my new film called Breaking The Girl. It's tonally in the vein of Body Heat, with lots of bi beauties and femme fatales.

No, these aren't the nominees for the NewNowNext Awards on Logo or Bravo's A-List Awards: MTV has opened voting for its 2009 MTV Movie Awards and once again some same-sex smooches have found their way into the Best Kiss category.
Sean Penn's NYC subway kiss with James Franco that kicks off Milk is the list's earnest gay entry, while the more blithe but somehow still kind of hot smooch between Paul Rudd and Thomas Lennon in I Love You, Man brings a bit of gay levity to the proceedings.
Here's the second clip...
This isn't the first time that gay kisses have been nominated or even won in the category (Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen won in 2007 for Talladega Nights, Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal won in 2006 for Brokeback Mountain and Seann William Scott and Jason Biggs won in 2002 for American Pie 2), but considering that this is a

When you really stop to think about it, the American Pie movies have etched out pretty cruel legacies for a lot of its young cast members. Over the past decade, Seann William Scott and Alyson Hannigan have probably maintained the highest profile, and Mena Suvari and Jason Biggs work pretty consistently.
But Chris Klein is still stuck with being one of the worst actors of his generation, Shannon Elizabeth now plays poker on ESPN2, and there is, of course, the very sad story of Natasha Lyonne, who appears to have emerged out of a very dark period in her life.
As for the walking punchline of the American Pie set, Tara Reid, man, did it not have to be that way. She could have been a real breakout star, with this movie and The Big Lebowski in close proximity. But she got pretty heavily invested in being a star, and

Richard Dreyfuss is set to join Jason Biggs in the cast of the CBS comedy pilot "Happiness Isn't Everything." "Happiness Isn't Everything" comes from Mitch Hurtwiz and focuses on a adult siblings and their parents who are all too involved in each others' lives. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dreyfuss will play the family patriarch, with Biggs ("American Pie") and newly added Ben Schwartz as two of the kids. I should probably preface this review by saying that I am not at all familiar with the Whitest Kids You Know, save for the fact that they are a comedy group and they apparently have a show on IFC that a number of people are fans of. Two of that group’s members, Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore, not only star in, but also write and direct Miss March. Having seen this effort, I’ll say that I’d be willing to give their show a shot -- but only if there was nothing else on.
You’ve probably already heard the plot synopsis by now, but considering how that only covers about ten minutes of the film, I’ll give you a little more. Eugene Bell (Cregger) is about to lose his virginity on prom night; but he gets too drunk and falls down a staircase landing him in a coma for four years.

Lionsgate distributed comedy “My Best Friend’s Girl” turns out to be far better than expected and spews out mega laughs. The romantic comedy starring Dane Cook, Kate Hudson and Jason Biggs surprised us for the most part; for one, it’s probably Cook’s second best offering after “Mr. Brooks.” The story may be simple but characters work well together serving up dialogue naturally with Cook being simply uproarious. Hudson takes on a more foul-mouthed character than most auds are used to. There are dangers when considering this character swing as far as viewers are concerned, this was most apparent with Ben Stiller in the uber-flop “The Heartbreak Kid.” Hudson however, falls into character easily.

Chicago – Audrey Hepburn and Dane Cook. You won’t find that kind of variety too many places outside of HollywoodChicago’s DVD & Blu-Ray Round-Up. From serial killers to musicals to a British import, this week’s round-up features an exciting variety of titles.
Some of these are agreed-upon classics, while at least one features arguably the most critically despised actor alive. And before you see a certain 3D horror movie this weekend, you should check out the available special edition.
“Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” “Funny Face,” “Little Britain USA,” “My Best Friend’s Girl,” and “My Bloody Valentine”. Try and find a lineup that diverse anywhere other than the round-up.
(Check out the first edition of the round-up, the second edition, and a few Blu-Ray Round-Ups here and here.)
All of these titles were released on January 13th, 2009.
