Peter Asher was born on June 22, 1944 in London, England. He is known for his work on Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012), Man of Steel (2013) and Armageddon (1998). He is married to Wendy Worth. They have one child.

Older brother of actress Jane Asher and Clare Asher.
Was a member, with Gordon Waller, of the singing duo, Peter and Gordon, whose hit songs included their number 1 hit: "World Without Love", written for them by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
Brother-in-law of Gerald Scarfe.
Other hits for the duo were: "Go To Pieces", "Losing You", "I Don't Want To See You Again", "Woman", folk classic "500 Miles" and "Lady Godiva". These last two were performed by them on The Milton Berle Show (1966) (1966-1967) shortly before they broke up.
Peter and Gordon reunited in 2005 for a tribute to Mike Smith of The Dave Clark Five. They went on to play concerts around the world. Their last big performance was in August 2008.
