On May 22, 2002, Felicity ended its four-year run on the now-defunct WB network, a channel hailed for its knack for breeding nuanced teen dramas in the late ‘90s and early aughts. The one-hour series, which debuted four years earlier in the fall of 1998, was an introspective and melancholic take on the trials and tribulations of Felicity Porter (Keri Russell), a wide-eyed, curly-haired California girl who impulsively follows her crush, sensitive jock Ben Covington (Scott Speedman), to the hustle and bustle of New York City for college.
Coincidentally premiering the same year as Sex and the City, another female-driven coming-of-age story set in Manhattan, and fielding welcomed comparisons to Ally McBeal, a popular dramedy at the time, Felicity shied away from the glitz and glamour of living in the big city -- instead focusing on the often uncomfortable and agonizing journey of being a young woman searching for her place and purpose in the world.

Along with the full ensemble’s weeknightly performance as the live house band for Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show” on NBC, Trotter and Thompson started Passyunk Productions and are working on two children’s shows for Amazon Studios: one a live-action program, the other an animated kids’ show.
While Thompson busies himself with DJ gigs and authoring books such as 2015’s “Mo’ Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove,” Trotter recently got into the solo entrepreneurial act with the start of his “Black Thought Presents…. Delirious” stand-up comedy events — first at the Punch Line Comedy Club in his hometown of Philadelphia, with more to follow at other Punch Line locations nationally.

The Mickey Mouse Club is coming back... kind of.
Disney is reviving the show for Facebook -- and calling it Club Mickey Mouse -- according to CNBC.
"We're not bound to one format. We're not bound to one length," Josh Mattison, vice president of digital ad sales for Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, told CNBC of the show airing exclusively on Facebook. "That's the beauty."
A new generation of Mouseketeers have yet to be named, but Disney will draw from Maker Studios, its in-house multichannel network and talent company.
The original Mickey Mouse Club launched the career of Annette Funicello after premiering on ABC in 1955. The show was revived in 1977, and again in 1989 -- with Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell, Christina Aguilera and Jc Chasez.
