Has a son, Nikolaj Adler (b. 1973) together with actress Britt Ekland.
Often seen sitting courtside next to Jack Nicholson at Los Angeles Laker basketball games.
Founder of Ode Records (1967), which he sold in 1975 at a considerable profit. He also managed acts such as Jan & Dean. He later dabbled in music-based film productions, such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) and Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains (1982).
