With the many casting announcements that have come down in recent months, it might've seemed as though there weren't any more roles to fill (other than, of course, extras) with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, but it seems that there was at least one.
Andrea Powell, who currently stars in The Gates, posted the following messages on her Facebook page:
. . . looks like I'll be making an appearance in the next #Twilight movie...and that my loyalties are now divided.
No word yet on whether or not I sparkle. At the Very least I'm hoping for some really cool eyes. :-)
I'll be playing Sasha, "mother" of Tanya, Kate & Irina.

While a second season on ABC seems like a real long shot, ABC hasn't officially cancelled The Gates (unlike say, My Generation). One of the show's stars however has been told that there won't be a second season.
The Gates follows a Chicago police detective (Frank Grillo) who moves his family to a gated suburban community to become the neighborhood's security chief. They soon discover that their new neighbors aren't as normal as they appear to be. The large cast includes Andrea Powell, Rhona Mitra, Marisol Nichols, Luke Mably, Travis Caldwell, Skyler Samuels, Chandra West, Colton Haynes, Janina Gavankar, Justin Miles, Victoria Gabrielle Platt, James Preston, Georgia Cole, Johnny Messner, Brett Cullen, Shannon Lucio, Devyn A. Tyler, McKaley Miller, and Louis Herthum.
Ratings expectations are lower in the summer months but the suburban supernatural series averaged only a 0.9 rating in the all-important 18-49 »

Earlier today, I put up the new poster for Bill Murray and Robert Duvall’s new movie, Get Low. Seems Yahoo weren’t far behind with the new trailer from the movie which was released last night while I was sleeping.
Get Low stars Bill Murray, Robert Duvall, Lucas Black, Gerald McRaney, Sissy Spacek, Bill Cobbs, Andrea Powell, Lori Beth Edgeman and is directed by Aaron Schneider.
Synopsis: For years, townsfolk have been terrified of the backwoods recluse known as Felix Bush. People say he’s done all manner of unspeakable things — that he’s killed in cold blood; that he’s in league with the Devil; that he has strange powers — and they avoid him like the plague. Then, one day, Felix rides to town with a shotgun and a wad of cash, saying he wants to buy a funeral. It’s not your usual funeral for the dead Felix wants. »

I love this poster so much. It’s vibrant, shows two of the greatest actors on the planet and I think I might have to buy a copy! The poster is for new movie called Get Low which stars Bill Murray, Robert Duvall, Lucas Black, Gerald McRaney, Sissy Spacek, Bill Cobbs, Andrea Powell, Lori Beth Edgeman and is directed by Aaron Schneider.
IMDb give us the short synopsis which seems rather intriguing!:
A movie spun out of equal parts folk tale, fable and real-life legend about the mysterious, 1930s Tennessee hermit who famously threw his own rollicking funeral party… while he was still alive.
Get Low is released in the Us 30th July. As yet I haven’t found a UK release date but i’ll keep you posted.
