The fan blog Ender News (via First Showing ) has confirmed that composer Steve Jablonsky will score the upcoming adaptation of Ender's Game . Jablonsky is most well known for providing the soundtrack for all three Transformers films. Here's our first look at Ben Kingsley as Mazer Rackham in the Gavin Hood-directed adaptation of Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game. Rackham trains Ender in the movie. The image was released in anticipation of the first trailer for the movie which is set to be released on May 7th. Here's what Kingsley had to say about the character in an interview with EW,
In the script, which I think is beautifully written, what come across is the authority and mystery. There’s quite a lot said about him in the story before you see him — by the recruits and by his fellow officers — and that’s useful as far as preparations.

Just yesterday we brought you the four Battle School army logos for Ender's Game including Salamander Army, Dragon Army, Rat Army, and Asp Army. Today we bring you the second official photo from the highly anticipated movie featuring Asa Butterfield as Ender Wiggin, your first look at Hailee Steinfeld as Petra Arkanian (left), Khylin Rhambo as Dink Meeker (right, next to Ender), and Moises Arias as Bonzo Madrid (end of the table on the left) eating in the Battle School mess hall. It's still a little hard to tell what this movie is actually going to be like from the very little we've seen of it. I'm looking forward to seeing more, especially some of the action sequences. We haven't really seen a lot from Gavin Hood's big screen adaptation Ender's Game, but today we bring you the official logos that will be used for the Battle School Army including Salamander Army, Dragon Army, Rat Army, and Asp Army.
The logos come from the following four Ender's Game fan sites... Ender Wiggin, Ender News, Ender's Ansible, and Ender's Game Fansite. I can't wait to see how this movie turns out! I'm a big fan of the books, and I hope to hell they get it right for the movie.

Movie composer James Horner will be scoring the upcoming Gavin Hood-directed adaptation of Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game. Horner has created scores for films such as Braveheart, Titanic, Avatar, Troy, and several other films. The guy is great at what he does, and I love listening to the movie musical scores he creates. I'm sure he'll come up with some great music for Ender's Game.
