unINDIAN to be released in India and Middle East

unINDIAN director Anupam Sharm with stars Brett Lee and Tannishtha Chatterjee.

Following on from its showing on Australian screens last year, unINDIAN.is set for release in India and the Middle East.

Star Brett Lee.will walk the red carpet along with co-stars Tannishtha Chatterjee, Supriya Pathak, Gulshan Grover and Akash Khurana and director Anupam Sharma at the Indian premiere on August 19. The film will then open on 300 screens across the country.

unINDIAN is a romantic comedy that follows the chequered path of Aussie bloke Will (Brett Lee), as he attempts to woo Meera (Tannishtha Chatterjee, Bhopal: A Prayer of Rain, Siddharth, Brick Lane), a gorgeous Indian woman who lives in Sydney with her daughter.

Among the other cast members are John Howard, Tiriel Mora, Maya Sathimoorthy, Arka Das, Sarah Roberts, Adam Dunn, Nicholas Brown, Kumud Merani and Pallavi Sharda. The film was produced by Sharma, Lisa Duff and Nitika Thakur. »

Amitabh Bachchan lends his voice for the giant ‘The Bfg’

After the last power-packed Oscar nominated movie, ‘Bridge of Spies’ -the visionary and celebrated filmmaker Steven Spielberg is back with fantasy adventure film ‘The Bfg’.

Well, the rumors indeed have been true. Big B has come on board to voice the good giant aka The Bfg (The Big Friendly Giant) itself for the Hindi dubbed version , which is played by prominent actor Mark Rylance in the original version.

He also admits that he’d love his grand-daughter Aaradhya to see the film even though, growing up, he never befriended any mythical monsters.

Gulshan Grover and Parineeti Chopra have already been roped in to dub for the same. While Gulshan lends his voice to the Bad giant- The Fleshlumpeater, Parineeti voices for the female protagonist of the film Sophie, played by a 12 year-old Ruby Barnhill.

To add to that, Parineeti Chopra has joined him to voice the female protagonist of the movie. She has dubbed for Sophie, played by a 12 year-old Ruby Barnhill in ‘The Bfg’ aka The Big Friendly Giant. The gorgeous actress decided to take up the part as she loved the character and it will be Parineeti’s first Hollywood project.

Badman aka Gushan Grover lends voice to the ‘bad giant’ in Steven Spielberg’s ‘The Bfg’

After the last power-packed Oscar nominated movie, Bridge of Spies, the visionary and celebrated filmmaker Steven Spielberg is back with fantasy adventure film The Bfg, which is all set to release in India on 15th July.

Well for the giant Bollywood release, B-town’s badman aka Gulshan Grover lends his voice in the hindi dubbed version of Speilberg’s The Bfg. Gulshan, being one of the celebrated actors also in the west, was apparently an obvious choice to play the main baddie Fleshlumpeater (which is portrayed by Jemaine Clement). Well, the role definitely suits our Badman and he did enjoy playing the character.

The Bfg, which stands for ‘Big Friendly Giant’, whose screenplay is by the very famous Oscar nominee the Late Melissa Mathison (Ex-wife of Harrison Ford) and is based on the novel of the same name by Roald Dahl.

Popularly known as 'Bad Man' of Bollywood, Gulshan Grover is all set to be a part of the upcoming fantasy drama The Big Friendly Giant. And this time around too, we will get to see the villainous streak of the actor in the upcoming Steven Spielberg film. Gulshan Grover will apparently be lending his voice to the negative character of Fleshlumpeater in the dubbed Hindi version of the film. The role is portrayed by Jemaine Clement in the original. Over the years, superstar Shah Rukh Khan has hosted several celebrities at his residence. Recently, the actor had invited Apple CEO Tim Cook to his house and hosted a grand party inviting all his film industry friends. Shah Rukh Khan recently invited Iranian superstar Mohammad Reza Golzar to Mannat for dinner. The Iranian actor was in Mumbai shooting for his first Indo-Iranian film Salaam Mumbai. When Srk got to know about Mohammad being in Mumbai, the actor didn't leave this opportunity. The guest list included the Iranian star along with the entire cast and crew. Salaam Mumbai stars the bad man of Bollywood Gulshan Grover. But, it turned out that the actor wasn't included in the guest list. unINDIAN to be screened at Cannes Antipodes during Cannes 2016 as a part of its Australian focus

Anupam Sharma’s cross cultural Australian comedy unINDIAN, featuring cricket star, Brett Lee and internationally acclaimed Indian actress, Tannishtha Chatterjee, will be screened in the Antipodes Festival at Cannes during Cannes Films Festival this May 2016, then in October 2016 during St Tropez Film Festival (https://issuu.com/michelolivier/docs/cannesantipodes2016__bd_). The film was produced with financial assistance from Screen Australia and Screen Nsw and major investment from Australia India Film Fund.

Opening with a world premiere at Montreal, unINDIAN continued to be screened at number of film festivals throughout Europe and America. The film opened across 70 screens in Australia, with Madman picking up ancilliary sales in Australia. The producers will be selling the film to various territories, particularly India, through their global sales agents, Yellow Affair at Cannes. Viacom18 launched its brand new VOD platform – Voot – with much grandeur and pomp on 29th March at a suburban hotel in Mumbai.

Voot is Vaicom18’s maiden venture into the digital platform which was launched by Sudhanshu Vats, Group CEO, Viacom18 and Gaurav Gandhi, COO, Viacom18 Digital Ventures. Dhanush to share screen space with Uma Thurman

After Bollywood celebs like Irrfan, Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Om Puri, Sonu Sood and Gulshan Grover bagged roles in the West, now Tamil-Hindi actor Dhanush is all set to make his debut his Hollywood debut with Uma Thurman and Alexandra Daddario in The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Cupboard.

Directed by Iranian-French director Marjane Satrapi (of Persepolis fame), the comic adventure features Dhanush as Aja, a conjurer from a forgotten Indian colony of artists, who is sent to Paris by his mother on a secret mission. A source from the set says the shoot is scheduled in India, France, Italy and Morocco in mid-2016.

When asked director why she chooses Dhanush, she says, “As I was watching various Indian movies, Dhanush became the most obvious choice — his intelligence, his killer smile, his ability to enter fully into the skin of any character »
