Scarlett Johansson has been tapped as the new face of Spanish fashion retailer Mango. The new spread was shot by photographer Mario Testino in Los Angeles and will hit the market in the fall for Mango's fall/winter 2009 campaign.

The company released a statement saying Johansson was selected for "embodying the ideal Mango woman: chic, independent and cosmopolitan...Johansson exudes a confident demeanor while remaining youthful and playful."

Johansson will be following in the footsteps of Penelope Cruz, the previous face for the retailer. Cruz starred in the Mango campaigns for the past four seasons and also helped to co-design some collections for the company alongside her sister Monica.

Johansson is the face of several companies including Dolce & Gabbana, Moet & Chandon, L'Oreal and Louis Vuitton.

The Golden Globes were just last night, but Leonardo DiCaprio has already banked on his Hollywood buzz. The actor will replace Brad Pitt as the ambassador of Tag Heuer watches.

Pitt's six-year contract with the Lvmh Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton company ended last month. DiCaprio has signed a contract worth several million, according to a Women's Wear Dailly source, to represent the company for three years.

The new watch campaign will be all over billboards and in magazines all across the U.S. this spring.
